Sky the Hawk

"EZRA! WAKE UP!" I woke up in pain. Charmy sat in front of me concerned. "Wha-what happened?"

"Um... you were shot." Charmy said tearing up. I hugged Charmy as he started to sob. "I was so worried Ezra. I thought we lost you!" Charmy cried. I petted his head. "It's ok Charmy. I'm fine now. It's going to be alright." I said quietly to calm him down. I looked around and I was back at Team Chaotix's house. Espio and Vector were gone. "Where's Espio and Vector?" I asked Charmy. Charmy was still crying. "They had to go do something." Charmy responded. I wrapped in in my arms and rock him back and forth. He cried into my chest. He reminded me of my brother Dexter when he had a nightmare. Then, I remembered a lullaby my older sister Joy use to sing to me. "Sleep my child, my lovely child. By-ush-ki-by-u." I sang softly. Charmy was still crying, but calmed down a bit so I continued. "The moon shines down on you, looking down on you. I sing you lullaby's and tell you fairytales. By-ush-ki-by-u"

"You sing pretty Ezra." Charmy said sleepily. "What language is it?" He asked. "Xian." I answered. "It's from my home planet, Planet X." I told him. "My sister Joy taught me the song." Charmy yawned. "Sing me another song." He said. "And can it be Xian?"

"Sure Charmy." I said. I sang multiple songs in Xian as Charmy fell asleep. I stopped singing and petted Charmy's head like I did with my brother. All of the sudden, the door came flying open as a blue hawk came running in. "Shush! Charmy's sleeping." I snapped at her. I know that hawk, Sky. She is apart of Team Ruins. "Sorry." She said. She sat next to me and smiled at the kid. "I just wanted to give you a message." Sky said. "Fire away." I said. She stood up and sighed. "Beast was under Crown's mid control spell. You know that he would never shoot you on purpose." She said. I nodded. "I know... how'd you find me?" I asked. She grinned. "I have my sources." And with that took off. I never understood that girl. Espio came running in along with Vector. The slammed the door waking Charmy up. "Board up the windows and doors!" Vector ordered. Espio and Charmy took off boarding the windows and doors. I stood up and looked at all of them working away. "What's going on?" I asked. Espio stopped what he was doing and looked at me. He came running over to me hugging me. "I thought we lost you."

"You still haven't answered me." I said. Espio released me and smiled. "We pranked Knuckles." He said smirking. I rolled my eyes and kissed him on the cheek. "You're so dumb." I said. Espio blushed. "I just do what the boss says."

"Speaking of me." Vector interrupted. "You in the Team or what?" He asked. "Yes Vector. I'm in the Team." I answered. Charmy and Espio jumped up in the air. "YAY!" They both said. I giggled at them. Knuckles barged in. They drew a mustache on him, put a kick me sign on him, and wrote I'm stupid on his forehead. "I'm going to kill you guys!" He yelled. I walked up to him and glared at him. "I don't think you will." I snapped at him. His eyes went big. "Hey! You're the girl that saved me." He said. I nodded. "Are you one of them?" He asked. I nodded again and glared at him. "You apologize right now!" I snapped at him. "But they started it!" He argued. I looked at him straight in the eyes. "Two wrongs don't make a right. They need to apologize too." I said. "WHAT?!" Vector said. "Hug." I demanded. "No." They all said. "Please, I got shot you know." I said showing them my scar. Knuckles frowned. "Who took out the bullet?" He asked. "Espio." Vector said laughing. Espio's face turned red. "Great, now hug." I said. The boys hugged it out. "OW! Knuckles is hurting me!" Charmy said. Knuckles released them and grinned. I rolled my eyes. "Anyways, Sonic wants to invite you to his party he's throwing." Knuckles said. "That sounds like fun, but I'm not much of a party person." I said. Knuckles frowned. "Too bad."

"Don't worry. We'll be there." Vector said. "The party is at Central park. Be there around five." Knuckles said and walked away. "Come on Ezra. It'll be fun." Vector said. "Yeah." Charmy said. "If you say so." I said. Knuckles came back in. "Oh I forgot, be in your best party clothes." He said then went back out. Oh great.
