Surviving on earth s1 maddie

Part 2

3 days later

We were going on an expedition to get food, supplies, or anything we could gather. When they asked for volunteers my hand shot right up I lived the ground and was longing for adventure. It was john, Clarke, Finn, Jasper, Monty, faith, and I. I walked behind Clarke who was in the lead. A glowing butterfly flew by. I didn’t even release I was following it until faith said something.

“Madeline! This way".

My face turned red and I went back with the group. We came across a stream. I had never seen one in real life none of us had.

"Who wants to go for a swim", Monty said.

"It would be nice to have some fun", I said smiling.

'We can't get distracted we need supplies", Clarke said.

Jasper held out a vine, he let go and flew across the stream. I wanted to try it next. Jasper was on the other side of the stream and he laughed.

"Want to try princess", he said.

Before Clarke could speak a spear went into Jaspers stomach. I couldn't think I couldn't breathe.

"Jasper!", I shouted.

"No", Monty cried!

I started sobbing into Monty's shoulder. A person dressed in leather and fur wearing a weird mask covered in bones dragged him off.

"Give him back you bitch", I tried to say but Finn was covering my mouth.

"We have to go", Clarke said.

"What about Jasper", Monty said.

"We find him later! They could come back", Clarke said she didn't have much sympathy.

"Why not now!?", I said angrily.

Suddenly an arrow came from a tree and hit faith right in the stomach knocking her to the ground. I dunked. We were under attack. Clarke and Finn dragged faith behind a rock and the rest of us ran. I was dripping with sweat. Another arrow came over the rock and just missed my leg. I moved it closer to the rock. I horn was blowing. They were either retreating or attacking more. They were gone. We didn’t release why until it was nearly to late. A thick dusty fog was coming towards us. Radiation?

“Run”, Clarke commanded.

We all ran away from the fog. I spotted a cave and followed John  inside who was carrying faith, Monty was right behind me. We had lost Clarke and Finn but they would be alright. Faith was still bleeding. We told her to rest. We needed a doctor here or we would all die. In the morning the fog had passed and faith was dead. I was alive and hopefully would stay that way.
