Halloween In December

My Past!

I wake up to see Ben lying there staring at me. He sees me open my eyes and pretends to be asleep! I yawn and say “I know you’re awake!” he opens his eyes and says “you got me!” I ask “Hey Ben? Can I talk to you?” he says “sure!” I say “well as you probably know I know almost all of the creepypasta's and their stories!” he nods his head and I continue “well I know you’re story too! And there's two things I can relate with!”

He asks “and those are?” I say “the love of video games and. . .” I pause for a moment then continue “the alcoholic father!” I smile to try and stop myself from crying! Ben says “Really?” I nod my head and say “yeah but my dad wasn't physically abusive!” he says “must’ve been nice!” I say “that’s the thing! I was supposed to be a boy! My dad wanted a boy! And yet he got. . .” I look down at my chest then say “this!” Ben looks shocked about that!

I say “I remember telling a lie to him when I was little! And it got me taken from him for three years!” Ben hugs me and says “it’s okay! You didn’t know!” I hug him back and start to cry blood. I let him go quickly and say “sorry I-” but I am cut off by him saying “again it’s okay! I get blood on this thing all the time!”

I ask “hey do you. . .maybe. . .have any knives in here?” Ben says “yeah! Why?” I say “let me show you!” I pull up my sleeve and a bunch of cuts and scars are lying on my wrist. Ben asks “why?” I say “because I don’t feel it! I mean. . .I could cut my wrist or any part of my body in that case for hours and not feel a single thing!”

Ben says “so you’re kind of like Toby?” I say back “kinda but Toby is numb to all physical pain! I am only numb to self caused physical pain!” Ben looks shocked that I know that! Jeff walks in and sees my eyes still dripping blood. Jeff asks “what happened?” I say “I was just telling Ben here a little about my past!” Ben nods and Jeff says “okay just as long as nothing happened!” I feel like I am being watched then everything goes black...end of chapter thirty three
