Halloween In December

I Win!

It’s the final race we all have one win and I am in the lead! Ben passes me and I say “I am not letting you win!” I throw a shell at him and it lets me pass him. Jeff is tailing me with Ben behind him. I crash into a wall on the second lap and Jeff and Ben pass me. I say “dang it!” I pick up to full speed and I pass Ben and then I pass Jeff! We all make it to the third lap and I am in last place! I feel a sharp shooting pain in my head and I say “Oww!” and hold my head.

Ben puts the race on pause, sits next to me and says “you okay?” I nod my head and say “yeah I just have one of my headaches! It will be gone soon! Now let's continue, it was just getting interesting!” Ben moves back to his seat and continues the game. I go at full speed and pass both of them! I am right in front of the finish line when Ben and Jeff pass me and tie, winning the game!

I put my arms up and say “How is that possible!?!” the end screen says that they were both in first place and I was in second I say “really universe!?! You choose to hate me NOW!?!” the game console turns itself off and I say “i’ll take that as a yes!” Ben and Jeff look at me like I am crazy and I ask “what?” Ben says “you talk to the universe?” and I say “yeah. . .why?”

Jeff says “because it’s cool?” I say back “no it’s annoying!” Ben says “well we both won! So you have to do what we say!” I say “this is gonna be as bad as when my friend got to control me for a week. . .Fine but I have some ground rules! #1. Nothing perverted or abusive!” I look at Ben and continue saying “#2. No telling me that I can’t listen to the other person! And #3. You guys can’t make me hurt anyone I don’t want to hurt!”...end of chapter twenty six
