Halloween In December

Cousins!

Jeff and I walk in and he yells “LAZARI!” and she comes bolting down the stairs she sees me and says “Jeff, who is that?” I pull a pair of blue glasses frames out of my back pocket and put them on the I pull my short blond hair into a low ponytail and I say “recognize me now?” she smiles and says “n/n?” I say back “the one and only!”

she pulls out a pair of red glasses frames and says “look! Look! I have mine too!” I smile and say “now do you know where Stripy is?” Lazari says “she’s with daddy!” I feel my face go cold in hatred “ok Lazi go on to your room I'll be back! And this time that’s a promise” Lazari runs back up the stairs and I look at Jeff and say “let's go!” Jeff looks me up and down then says “not like that you haven't eaten in a week!”

I bite my lip and mumble in embarrassment “nobody in here has good blood!” Jeff looks at me like I am crazy and says “drink mine!” I sniff the air and then ask “are you sure?” he says “yeah just do it!” I sigh and say “okay but this might hurt a bit!” he bites his lip and I bite his neck I drink a little bit of blood then let go of him I ask “are you okay? Did I hurt you?”

Jeff says “little bit!” I say “hold on a second” I say a spell and the bite marks disappear he says “I can’t feel it anymore!” I say “I know I did a healing spell!” I sniff the air and walk up the stairs Jeff follows me I walk into E.J’s room and ask “why do I smell blood and where is f/n?” Jack point’s to the closet while eating a kidney I say “Jack if you don’t get over here and help me I will infect you the same way Lazari did the day you first met!”

Jack asks “how do you know about that?” I say “I also know that Jeff pours his milk before his cereal and Ben is the same age as me but has a better chance with the ladies then my three older brothers!” both boys look at me with fear in their eyes I close my eyes and say in anger “stop staring at me! If you like the way I look that much take a picture it will last longer!”...end of chapter twenty three
