Chapter 1: The Meeting Of The Boys.
Friendship is a special thing. Sometimes friendship can last a lifetime or the only last during childhood. They are still an important part of life. This is a story about 6 friends and their journeys through life. Read as they grow up and develop friendship and even more than friendship. Read as they go through heartbreak and pain, but also read as they go through happiness and joy.Well I guess this all started when I moved to L.A California. When I was only three years old my mom and I moved from Doncaster Yorkshire Island in the Uk to Los Angeles California in the US. I moved into a nice big house with a decent backyard and a pool, but all that didn’t matter because I met her new friend Dominic Aquino. He was only one years old but I still had fun playing with him. Dominic was Latino. His son Johan was Latino, but his dad Jquan was mexican. How they met is Johan needed my mom to watch Dominic. So Him and I watched cartoons all day. When Johan came to pick up Dominic I didn't want him to go. They promised that we could play tomorrow and that day started a friendship that would last a lifetime.
Dominic and I basically shared the same houses and parents. We even called each other brother and sister. When I turned five. I had to go to school so Dominic and I didn’t see each other all day like we used to. On my first day of school I didn’t make any new friends. I saw a boy in my class that I was interested in. He was sitting at a desk all alone drawing. My teacher came in and told us to sit in a circle on the rug. I was just paying attention to the boy when my name was called. I jumped up and looked at the teacher. “What is your name sweety?” “UH...Leona Williams” I played with the end of my dress. “What are three things about yourself?” She asked me. “Well I have the best mommy and the bestest big brother. Uhhh…..I like to color and I like puppies.” I sat down and she called on a few other people. “What about you young man?” the teacher asked. The boy that I was interested in stood up. “I’m Jaxson Davis. I have a big brother and a little sister. I love to color and I love kitties.” then a voice from behind him said “And I smell like dog poop” then it was followed by giggles. Except for me. He sat down embarrassed. “Now class be nice.” is all the teacher said. It was lunch time and I drew a picture of a cat and a note that said ‘It's okay if you smell weird at least you don’t smell normal, because normal is boring. -L.W’ I slipped it in his backpack as I went to lunch.
The next day I had this awesome plan to make two lunches. One for Jaxson and one for me. In Jaxsons Lunch bag she put a new package of Pokemon cards. When she saw Jaxson sitting alone at lunch she walked up to him and gave him his lunch that she made him. “What's this?” jaxson asked. “Lunch. Don’t worry it's not poisoned. My best friend Dominic’s mommy made it for us.” I smiled. He smiled back. He opened the bag and smiled. “For me?” he asked as he pulled out the cards. “Mhm. My mommy got them for you.” “wow thanks!” he examined. During recess Jaxson introduced me to his friends Johnnie Regan and Mason Brown. We all got along really well. Even though Johnny and Mason are 2 years older than Jaxson and I. I even invited them to my house after school one day and they met Dominic. They were really nice to Dominic.
When Dominic turned five he also started school and that's when they met the last member of their group.
Charlie Sanders. During recess Dominic ran up to me and the guys to introduce Charlie to them. Johnny and Mason were in 5th grade and Jaxson and I where in 2nd grade. “LEONA!” Dominic yelled as he ran to me. “What up Dom?” I asked as he reached me out of breath. “This” he in hales. “Is. Charlie” he inhaled again. “He. Is. My. New. Friend” he was trying to catch his breath. Standing behind him was a small blond Kid with hair that went to his ears.. “Hello Charlie. I’m Leona, this is Jaxson, Mason, and Johnny” I introduced them. And from that day on they had sleepovers every weekend. They ended up inseparable. Until Leona turned 18.
