3/23/17 - Entry 1
Hey there notebook...I'm not normally one for diary entries, but I don't really have anyone to talk to right now. I'm camping and I don't really like the people situation. I want my friends and bebe, not some random people that I pretty much force myself to make friends with.
I really think the idea of writing feelings down where no one else can see them is kinda dumb, but it'll have to do for now. I mean, who knows? Maybe this'll become a regular thing I do.
Back to my people 'situation.' I'm stuck with my family and dogs for 10 DAYS. I might make some temporary friends, but most likely not. When I do make friends, I usually become quite attached to them. It's a problem. When I have to leave, most of the time I'm on the verge of tears- but that's just because I'm a crybaby.
Y'know, as much as I enjoy writing, it does have some pretty sucky things to it. For one, if you're handwriting something, your hand starts to cramp up. That's why I personally prefer free-writing on the computer. Notice how I 'said' free-write. For some odd reason, I can't write writing prompts very well on the computer. Even though my hand cramps up, I can only do it to my fullest extent while handwriting.
I just realized something. You need a name. YOU. If I keep calling you 'notebook' or 'diary' people will try to take you and read you. It'll be like a code name- one that not even my closest friends know... How about Poppy? I like Poppy. Your new name is Poppy.
Just so you know Poppy, I named you after a singer. If you haven't guessed, her name is Poppy. Well, That Poppy to be specific. Wanna know something weird? The more I write in you, the more I begin to like it. Funny, huh?
I've recently been super into drawing Bendy from Bendy and the Ink Machine. I saw jacksepticeye play it and I instantly fell in love. I got a new sketchbook, and 40% (now more) of it is somehow Bendy-related. My brother asked me how I draw so well, and I simply replied with practice. That's the right thing to say, isn't it Poppy? I think it's kinda stereotypical and cliché, but it's true. And anyways, I do always say 'obey the cliché.' You wouldn't have known that before, since I just began saying it recently.
Well, my brother wants to sleep. My light is 'disturbing' him I guess. Before I get too into my writing, I might as well stop now. Goodnight Poppy.
