new school, new friend
"So, how was your first day?" Mom asked when we came home from school." Fine, I guess, I mean we did make a friend." I said." Oh, what's her name?" Mom asks." Bridget!" Casey said excitedly." And she's coming over for a homework assignment!" Casey said." Oh, well that's okay with me, I'll go make some snacks." Mom goes to the kitchen."Mom, can you get the door?" Mom nods and walks to answer the door. "Hi you must be Bridget; I'm sky and Casey's mother." Mom says after opening the door. "And I'm their friend nice to meet you, so can I come in?" Bridget replies. "Yeah, sure the girls are right down the hall." Mom hurries to unpack the rest. Bridget walks down the hall and looks around almost as if she knows this place. "Hey!" Casey says when Bridget enters. "Hey, so lets get started, is something wrong?" I said noticing how sickly pale Bridget's face looks. "You actually bought the place." Bridget said.
"What do you mean?" I said, confused about everything. "Wait, you haven't heard about what happened here, the family before you, no one has ever bought the house because of what happened." Bridget stopped and looked like she was gonna throw up. "Well, what happened here?" I insisted. " I don't know why it happened, but it happened. A family of three, a mother , a father, and a daughter. One day, the daughter needed medical help for something, they didn't say, she was never seen she stayed inside. A few months past, her mother fell down the stairs and died. Her father was sad and depressed and blamed his daughter and tried to kill her. He was arrested and within his jail cell he hung himself. The daughter ended up in the hospital and died two days later. No one knows why or how it started. That's all I know or what they told me." Everything ended in silence, we were all shock.
