The mission
So me and Emily went to search for footprints. Instead, we found a long trail of flattened grass from wher e the mattress had been dragged away. It took us to the other end of the school grounds. To the lake of never ending doom.The lake of never ending doom was created by the headmaster to stop thepupils going near to the active volcano that sits on an island in the middle of lake doom. The lake is full of terrible creatures, such as crocodiles and piranhas.
Me and Emily sat down to think. We had to get acroos the lake. Then Emily saw the mattress that had been stolen lying by the side of the lake. Xander and Will were still asleep in it. So we shoved them off. "Uhhrr... Waz up?" Xander moaned. Then he went back to sleep.
Emily pushed the mattress out onto the lake. Then we climbed on top of it. But we began to drift towards a crocodile. Quick as a flash, Emily pulled out her fly swatter shooter, and shot out a fly swatter which she used as a paddle to steer the mattress. In almost no time, we were across the lake.
