Tell me about Quadrants <Homestuck DaveKat Dave Strider Karkat Vantas>

Part 4

A few weeks had gone by since the two had gotten together. The two spent quite some time together when they could, that being almost all the time. Karkat was sitting on the human bed that belonged to Dave and was watching human romcoms from his husktop. He had to admit that they were pretty good. The titles left it up to your imagination, much to his dismay, but they were good none the less. One movie, one that wasn't really a romcom that kept catching his eye while watching blended, was the perks of being a wallflower. He had no idea what a wall flower was but he was sure watching it would help him find out.

He sat down on the bed after finally putting the movie in and watched the trailers role in, the anticipation killing him to watch the movie. For once they were not together, thus giving Karkat the liberty to do what he usually wouldn't do in the humans presence, relax. He had to be on guard with Dave occasionally because he always made advancements on him like his hand touching his butt or other things. When he wasn't paying attention is usually when it happened.

Elsewhere, Dave was out and about looking for his dear old sister Rose. Though Karkat had mildly gone over quadrants with Dave he was still curious on everything everything called for and meant. He knew quadrants meant four, that was preschool garbage, but he wanted to know more on how requirements are met and what was and wasn't allowed.

He finally arrived to the room Rose was assumed to be in and stood behind her as she sat curled up on a couch reading some book she had found on the bookshelf of the library. He watched her read for a bit, the blond female probably already having noticed his existence, before moving around the arms and hopping right next to her. "Yo Rose, I need to talk to you."

"about what exactly Dave?"

"Troll relationships and shit."

"Oh?"

He takes a seat and relaxes, looking over at her and nods his head. "Yeah like, I have no f*cking clue on how or what exactly any of this means despite his repeated explanations with a few insults between."

"Who's repeated explanations?"

Sh*t, Dave forgot that he had yet to tell anyone about this relationship change of his. He figured Rose would take it lightly what with her relationship with Kanaya, Karkats friend, but it was still going to be shocking news to reveal.

"Karkat."

"Why would Karkat be telling you all this if its not that important to him weather you know or not?"

"Well, me and the little guy are in the red quadrant now I guess. Matesprites I believe. I'm not really sure and I don't actually care." He shrugged and closed his eyes beneath the shades, wondering what the troll was up to.

Rose raised an eyebrow at him and nodded her head, not actually shocked or fazed by the news one bit. " I had suspected that was the case between you two."

"Of course you did."

"Of course I did"

"So, can we get to the f*cking nitty gritty of this. I'm missing out on my hella rad cuddle time with mc nubs. "

"Of course. So, what are you curious about exactly?"

"Everything rose."

"Alright, let's get started-"

Karkat had finished the movie within an hour and a half, crying at the end and trying hard to hold in his emotions. He was about to present himself outside the contained walls of his, daves, room and didn't need red tears staining his cheeks before hand. He didn't need a weakness presented by him. He turned everything off and made his way in search of Dave,curious on were the human would be, wondering the halls aimlessly.

Just then, he had ran into Terezi, the teal blooded troll with a liking for licking things, and growled at her.

"WHAT THE HELL TEREZI, WATCH WERE YOURE GOING-" he stopped in mid sentence, realizing his mistake, and to his luck she did too.

"W3LL 1 C4NT K4RK4T 1M BL1ND."

"YEAH OKAY THATS NICE, MOVE THE F*CK OUT OF MY WAY WITH YOUR NOSE."

"F1N3 K4RKL3Z H3H3H3 "

He let out a low growl and glared at her. "MY NAME IS KARKAT, NOT KARKLEZ, FOR F*CKS SAKE."

"1 KNOW K4RKL3Z. YOUR3 N1CKN4M3 1S FUNN3R THOUGH H3H3."

"WHATEVER, HAVE YOU SEEN DAVE ANYWHERE?"

"Y3S 4CTU4LLY, H3 W3NT 1N TH3 D1R3CT1ON OF TH3 STUDY. 1 B3L13V3 1T W4S TO S33 ROS3."

"THANKS TEREZI."

With that they parted ways and Karkat advanced forward in search of Dave, hoping to convince him into more cuddle sessions for the day. He walked around the meteor looking for the study, it taking him about an hour to do so. When he finally did find it he was aggravated and stressed out beyond belief and was fuming mad. Sweat coated his brow as he was running around in a building with a lack of a AC and just running in general. He could here them conversing through the average door, something about him and relationships but that was all that was heard.

Just as he was about to open the door himself, Dave opened it and he fell inward due to leaning on it for was dropping purposes. He quickly jumped up, growling and blushing, looking down to hide his face from Dave, not wanting him to know how embarrassed he was.

"kar, dude, how long have you been ease dropping?"

"I WASNT EASDROPPING DAVE, WHY THE F*CK WOULD I WASTE MY PRECIOUS TIME EASE DROPPING ON YOU AND YOUR CONVERSATIONS WITH YOUR SISTER WHEN I HAVE LEADERLY WORK TO DO."

"Suddenly, with all your recent available hands, you have work?"

"YES" he lied.

"Karkat, are you lying to me?" He lifted an eyebrow and crossed his arms, rose chuckling in that general direction.

"This is adorable you two but I must leave." She chuckles and stands up, Dave assists her, and she walks out the door. They turn and watch her go, waiting patiently as she slams the door and her fading footsteps are gone. Karkat then turns back to Dave and immediately hugs him, not concerned with the out of characterness of it. His face nuzzles daves chest as he closes his eyes and inhales his scent, breathing it in and almost tasting the cologne on his tongue.

"Really  Karklez what do you want exactly other than some cuddles and love from me?" He was still shocked by Karkats random outbursts of affection and didn't really know how to take it but he took satisfaction in it none the less. It was enjoyable to say in the least and the strider was fine with anything the Vantas threw his way.

"LETS PLAY A GAME OR SOMETHING, I DONT CARE IF ITS ONE OF YOUR SH*TTY HUMAN GAMES JUST LETS DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING DAVE. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?"

"Well, there is hide and seek? Does that sound like fun? You go hide somewhere and I'll go on a mad goose chase and find you."

"ALRIGHT, SOUNDS FUN ENOUGH, GOOD LUCK TRYING TO FIND ME. I ALREADY KNOW YOURE GOING TO GIVE UP."

"Well, let's see about that~"

Immediately Karkat is in search for a hiding spot, wondering around and looking almost everywhere for the perfect place. He looked in every crack and crevice before finding it, oh behold, the great crawl space. He knew Gamzee and Terezi spent some time in there together, a lot of time, but knew it was his best bet and crawled in anyways. From there he traveled through the air vents, Dave already on the hunt, and continues looking for the perfect place. He finally gets to a small room, daves room, and hides in the vent there, not moving, only breathing.

Dave was on the search, looking near and far for the shirt nubby horned troll. He was actually enjoying the game a lot despite he being the one doing all the finding, and looked around on the stupid meteor for the grumpy nubbed troll. The last place he looked was in his own room, already having searched everywhere else, and glanced around. Just as he was about to look in the closet he heard faint breathing from the crawl space and smirked, turning around abruptly and making his way to him, hands in his pockets. He took one out and opened the space, staring down at Karkat.

"Found you."

"SO YOU HAVE..."

Karkat looked up at Dave through his eyelashes and leaned outward, planting his chapped lips against daves soft ones, and kissing him deeply.

So, I just realized there is six more chapters and it's over guys. This is actually kinda sad. I'm sorry if daves personality changed. Someone else actually wrote his stuff and we lost connection so I had to fill it in and will from now on, I hope it's not a problem.
