If You're Bored, But ALONE
1. Say the alphabet backwards. See how fast you can do it.2. Play Alphabet I Spy (see rules in last chapter) .
3. Play Number I Spy (see rules in last chapter) .
4. IF A PENCIL AND PAPER ARE HANDY:
-doodle
-write a haiku (three lined poem; first line has 5 syllables, second has 7, and last has 5 - for example: Ice cream is so good. I want a lifetime supply. Hot fudge and caramel.)
-choose a longish word, like "improvement," and write it down, and then see how many other words you can make from that word
-play Word Ladders: write a word, and then see if you can change it into another word, by changing first one letter, then another one, and so on. Rules are: must only change one letter each time, must be a real word each time, must not add or subtract any letters, and don't change letters multiple times if you could have just changed one and gotten the same result.
