Chapter 2

(A few hours later)
Lilith glanced into the rearview mirror, Alfa was fast asleep snoozing in his seat. A sudden ringing sound made Lilith look back onto the road. There was a train going across the railroad. Lilith slammed on the break's a second before they would crash. Lilith got jerked forwards luckily she had her seatbelt on. She peeked at Alfa. Alfa was rubbing his eyes. "What is happening?" Alfa looked around still a bit dazed from getting woken up. "Um...it was nothing go back to sleep." She tried to hide the hint of her fear from Alfa but it didn't seem to work. "I know something happened. Why aren't you tellin me?" Alfa looked at Lilith still pressing on for the truth. "I just-" she began before getting interrupted by Alfa. "You just don't trust me do you..." Alfa looked a bit upset. "Please Alfa lets talk about this when we get to the house." pleaded Lilith, she couldn't take Alfa being upset because she knew what would then happen. "Alright." mumbled Alfa glumly. They kept on driving for a bit then stopped at a old cottage. Lilith and Alfa got out of the car. "Is this where we'll be staying? It looks old and dusty..." said Alfa. "Well I guess we'll have to clean up the place a bit then it'll just be like home." Lilith took her suitcase out of the truck. Alfa still looked like he didn't believe it. "Home...was destroyed long ago." Alfa looked at the ground. Lilith sighed and put the suitcase down. "I know it won't be exactly like old times but it will have to do." "I guess..." Alfa opened the door to the cottage as a howl split the air. "What in hell?!" Lilith unsheathed a hidden dagger and readied it. A massive gray werewolf speeded towards them.
