Chapter Three
"So, bad fight against Dewfang?" Stonefeather rushed through the Doc mix-sure, not wanting to keep Nightwing waiting. Flamingpaw noticed how Stonefeather rushed, "Hey! Don't go so fast, I'm not wanting to get better soon".
Stonefeather blinked at Flamingpaw, and turned away. "Well, I don't have much time, and I need to go somewhere" Stonefeather hissed, "So to bad, I'm sorry I can't help you". Flamingpaw bit back a mean comment, "Sorry, I didn't mean to put ants on your tongue". Stonefeather looked at his sibling, and sighed. "I'm sorry, my life is just busy" Stonefeather laid down next down to Flamingpaw, "you're right I should go slower". So Stonefeather did the Doc mix-sure, and put it on his brother's scratch. "Can you walk? I think you'll be fine. Just come in here everyday so I can check it out" Stonefeather ushered Flamingpaw out of his den. "I can walk, don't worry!" Flamingpaw dragged away, and winced at every step.
When he arrived at the apprentices' den, every cat scooted away from his nest. Sighing, he sat down in his nest. "Who attacks a warrior?" Badgerpaw whisper to Tumblepaw, he meowed it just loud enough for Flamingpaw to hear. "HEY MOUSE-BRAIN YOU DON'T HAVE TO MAKE FEEL ANY WORSE" Flamingpaw yowled at the younger apprentice, "I'M OLDER SO MABYE STUFF YOUR MOUTH WITH A MOUSE!". Badgerpaw grumbled and plopped into his own nest, Tumblepaw stood still. "Can I sleep next to you?" he asked. "Sure, I don't mind" Flamingpaw nodded, and went to sleep.
And as he did, the prophecy was louder then ever.
