Crystalwood's Past

Crystalwood wasn't always a kingdom. It used to be just a forest. There was always snow on the ground, even in the summer, and it was very cold. One day, a merchant named Benjamin got lost and stumbled upon the forest. He named it Crystalwood Forest, and lots of people went there.
Benjamin worked with other people to build a town, and the town was called Crystalwood.
When the town was finished, people moved into it. One of these people was named Eve. Ben and Eve fell in love and got married. They had a boy named William. William grew up to be a nice man. He started building a castle in the town. The town became a kingdom. The townspeople christened William their king. But he needed to find a wife.
One peasant named Emma caught his eye. They got married and became king and queen. They were very nice to the townspeople.
But one day, an evil man named Al set the forest on fire. The fire melted all the snow and ruined the beautiful place that used to be "Crystalwood Forest." The kingdom was still named Crystalwood Kingdom, though. It was in remembrance of the beautiful forest.
Emma and William had two kids - Luna and Matthew. Luna loved to play in the forest, but Matthew cared more about money.
One day, Matthew spent all of the kingdom's money. He was only 16. It took one whole year to earn the money back.
Now, Matthew is 17 and Luna is 15.
