The Ball

Toby, Broken, Sally, and Ben joined the couple, but everyone had masks on, EJ changing his mask. A slow dance started, but no one noticed the three different couples in the crowd. Rose put her head on EJ's chest. She still had her knives, but they were hidden in he boots. She insisted on wearing them, and Trender was still annoyed at her after she left. She saw Broken, smiling as Toby kissed her forehead. She couldn't bring her scythe, but she brought her carving knives. Anyone that was a bully died.
EJ stiffened. "Rose, I need you to leave. Please. Take Broken and Sally with you. For me." She nodded, and got the two girls.
Next thing they knew, Someone screamed. A bloody hand could be seen coming from the hall. The girls rushed in. The boys had been attacked. Rose screeched. Someone had a knife at her neck. Everyone turned, and Rose didn't move. The boy thought he could kill her. She laughed, and a ball of ice appeared in her hand. She struck the boy, and he dropped, now an ice sculpture. She kicked him, and he broke. EJ ran to her. "Go!"
She looked around, and saw a ton of dead humans. The humans had Ben, and he didn't teleport. They would go with him, and then kill him. The humans also had machine guns, which is why so many humans were dead in so many seconds. A boy tried to rush and shoot her, but she here. Body in its way, and the boy smirked. She looked around, and saw a rope, connected to a stage curtain. If she could knock them out, they would be put in jail. The boy came forward. Rose dropped the body, and he shot at her. She got hit, but she kept walking forward. The boy fired even more, but all she did was walk forward. EJ cried out, but a boy came behind him. Broken and Sally where nowhere to be seen, but Rose had turned away from them a while ago.
Rose came up to boy, knife in hand. She twisted the gun out of his hand, and cut his neck. Blood rushed out. EJ cried out, and Rose took the machine gun, and used it on the boy. EJ hugged her. "You... Are you okay?" She nodded. "Hit me. Trust me." He punched her hard, but his hand flew back. She smiled. "I manipulated an ice orb. Really, I did freeze him, but then I used another orb to protect me. It should wear off soon. Broken laughed. "That was fun." Sally smiled. "They played with us!" Rose smiled. "They did, Sally!" Sally giggled.
