Confessions
Hoodie smiled. "Hey, am I interrupting something?" Masky turned to go, but Rose held his wrist. "No, Hoodie, I was just going to get you." He nodded, and joined the two, so they were in a mini triangle. Hoodie looked at Masky, and went to shut the door. "Masky... What did you do?" Masky didn't move. Rose muttered, "I'm so sorry, Hoodie." Masky went up to him, and hugged him. "Huh?" Masky whispered something in his ear, and Hoodie blushed. "You what?" His voice was a whisper. "Rose? How?"Rose didn't move, she just paled. Masky turned to her. "Go ahead. It's my fault." She only said, "I..." Then she stopped.
Hoodie sat next to her. "Rose. Tell me." Blood came to her face. "Masky kissed me. I wanted to talk about it, and he told me." Hoodie didn't move. "Masky..." Masky sank to the floor. The hands on her wrists let go. Someone growled something, but she couldn't hear it. She closed her eyes. Her head was throbbing. It was still noon, but she was tired. Splendy sat next to her. She smiled. "Hi, there..." He grabbed her in his hands, and put her head on his shoulder. He wiped her tears from her cheeks.
She smiled. "There we are. What's wrong?" Rose told him everything except about Hoodie and Masky. They deserved it. He shrugged. "Hey, it's okay. I hate to see you cry. So don't, for me." She nodded. "Okay, Splendy." He laughed. "Good." She laughed, and fell asleep. When she woke up, Splemdy had left, be she had a note on her chest. She was laying straight across a branch. "Anytime you need me..." She read aloud. She smiled. She got from the tree, and saw it was about 3:00. She was well-rested. She went inside the house, and EJ said, "Hey, Rose? You okay?"
