Sit at the table already!

DAWN'S POV

"It has to work!" I said as I peered into the restaurant through the window. I looked at Libby. She was staring at Jared. Jared was staring at Libby. "Can Libby stop staring at her future boyfriend and can Jared SIT at the table!?" I exclaimed. Lindsay watched quietly. "He'll sit down soon enough." She said. I sighed and texted Jerome.

Dawn: everything in the plan is going great
Jerome: good :)
Dawn: except that Jared isn't walking towards the table...
Jerome: ? Heh ?
Dawn: he's just staring at it
Jerome: oh... give it some time i guess
Dawn: *sigh* fine

FINALLY, Jared nervously trudged forward. I smiled. He was NERVOUS! Another sign he liked Libby :D! I took out my "Date Planning" journal and jotted in another clue. "He's sitting down!" Lindsay whispered next to me. I smiled excitedly. Suddenly I heard screeching behind me. I looked at the road. "Jerome?" Jerome pulled parked his car and came running out of breath. "The-table-for-two..." He started. "Calm down!" Lindsay exclaimed. "The table for two was reserved, but Autumn got the waiter to give it to her." Jerome spat. "And..." I said. "It was reserved for... Nelly Damerson... And Alex Serner." Jerome said. "WHAT?!" Squealed Lindsay. A few heads turned to look at her. "I overheard when I was driving back to my house." Jerome continued. "Are they—" I started. "Yep. They're on their way." Jerome sighed. "I'm gonna stop them then..." Lindsay said storming off. "It's the other way!" Jerome called. Lindsay rolled her eyes and turned.
