Starting My Blog
Science went great. Dawn and I where lab partners and it was all really cool. Once the class was dismissed, I headed towards the reading room. I sat down between two girls. The teacher looked at us and handed us thin books. "You must finish this novel my the end of the week." She said. I flipped through the pages. "Only 120 pages?" I thought. I could read that in an hour. I read the first two chapters and got bored. I saw most students where on their laptops, so I took mine out too. Most of the students where on blogs. I looked around some of them and they where all boring. I clicked the 'create a blog' tab and started. Topic? I thought about that for a while. Then I made up my mind. "Matchmaking." I typed in. I pressed enter. It was done. I had created my very own blog. I decided to write an entry in it:Hi everyone in the GreenFern High school community. I realized, you guys need a blog to... Motivate you, to start a new relationship. So I made this one. As I have seen, many of you are desperate. Just send your request to my blog email. It's MatchMaker@gmail.com. I hope to get requests soon!
I pressed publish and the post appeared on my blog. All if a sudden, a notification tab popped up. "10 people have subscribed to your blog." I arched my eyebrows in surprise. News got around very quickly in this school. I got an email very soon after that:
Dear MatchMaker,
There's this guy, I really like. I've liked him since we where in middle school, but I don't have the nerve to tell him! What can I do? Please help!
From, Desperate Girl
I logged on to my blog and posted a new entry. I was excited about this! My blog might actually become a success! Here's my post:
I recently got a request, here is my answer!
Dear Desperate Girl,
We all go through these things one time or another. Don't let fear take you over. Tell him how you feel, if you are too nervous to tell him at first, leave a note in his locker saying you like him, but sign it with your name! Tell me if everything works out soon!
