Chapter 7~

"I don't get it. How did you hide it?" I asked Owen. We were currently walking towards the park, because our parents thought we were there, not at school. Owen was in more of a sad mood, probably because he just saw his friend being taken away from him. Again. Which makes me angry that I even went back in time in the first place. "It took me awhile to master faking it. Most of my other friends were on vacation or wouldn't understand, so I mainly counted on music. Now it's a very big part of my life. Anyways, yeah. That's it really." Owen responded, with quite the depressed tone. "What? How would music help you? Most of the radio is so jumpy that would make me even more depressed." I said back. "Oh not mainstream, other stuff you won't know. Also, did you hear that noise when we were going to the school a month ago?" Owen asked, changing the subject. "Yup, I heard it too. Maybe we could... Freeze time in the area we heard her? But just for a bit don't wo-" "Sure. I always wanted to what other people we could team up with." Owen said, interrupting me. "Mk, let's do it now!" I said, not wanting to waste time, even though I could now reverse it anyways. "Uh, ok?" Owen replied, and then took off running in the direction we heard the voices. "Ugh" I said to myself, not wanting to run after him but starting to run anyways.

When I caught up to him, he already froze time. "Let's not take too long, so you go near the road you saw that person running on. I'll go calling out to see if that person could hear us. Got it?" Owen asked me, starting to turn around. "Sure?" I said uncertainly, which was true, I didn't know if that person was even in their home, maybe we were just lucky enough to freeze time when that person was home. He or she may have moved. I decided not to think too much into it and just go to the road I saw the running person. I got there and saw nothing interesting. Just people about to saw something, so their mouths look hilarious. In the distance I could hear Owen calling out phrases for the people/person who froze in time with us. After a while of searching the park, and when Owen said his voice was getting choppy, we decided to make time go foreword again. Right before I got the chance to though, I saw something huge in the distance. "Is that.." I asked. "Yup. That looks like 10 T-Rex's to me too. The sky turned to pitch black, and the dinosaurs were typically sprinting towards us. "Run." I said, I was too confused to be terrified. I had no idea what was happening or how. We ran the hardest we could, but we couldn't beat them. When they were about to step on us, a hole opened up beneath me. I fell, for minutes on end. Then it was black.

"You think I scared them too much Petra?" I heard a voice say. I slowly opened my eyes, surprised to feel no pain. I saw too girls around my age, maybe older. I remembered everything perfectly, how come I couldn't feel any pain? "Nah, they passed out just fine, isn't that what you wanted? And it's payback for freezing time too much. But th-" "ALBERTA! One of them's awake! Are you BLIND?!" The one I presumed to be Petra screamed at the one I presumed to be Alberta. "Uh, yeah? What happened? Is Owen still passed out?" I asked both of them. "Yup. He passed out pretty badly. But don't worry, he'll wake up. Eventually." Alberta said to me. "Wait, Alberta, Petra, those are your names right?" "Yup" both of them responded at the same time. "Oh ok, which one is the one I saw when me and Owen went back in time?" I asked. "WHAT?! You can go back in time? THATS AWESOME! What-" "Yeah, was it you two?" I asked, interrupting Petra. "Probably, and what can Owen do? Like his second power?" Petra asked me. "Go forewords in time. What's your guys' powers?" I asked, very curious to see what those two crazy energetic girls had as powers. "OHHHH! No way! You two have corresponding powers! Like us! We have auditory and feeling hallucinations and normal hallucinations. I have the normal hallucinations, Petra has the auditory and feeling hallucinations. We have this because, well what we think is the reason, we have been best friends for 10 years. Always in the same class. Pretty awesome right? Anyways, if you two have corresponding powers, that means, that you must be very good friends. No other way. So-"

"What?! No! He's been a jerk to be for years up until recently! But that's probably because of the force of having to work together." I said interrupting Alberta once again, but I was still confused of this new concept. "Huh, well does he like you? That may be the case, but it would have to be a really good relationship, but from what you said, I don't understand... What do you think, Petra?" Alberta asked Petra, who also looked clueless. "I don't know Alberta. Anyways, what's your name? Sorry we never got to that..." Petra asked me. "Zoey. Owen is passed out, which you already know." "Ok, Zoey, did you know that there is one more time keeper in this town? We saw her, and she seems to have mind reading and telepathy." Petra told me, which gave me a thought. "Mind reading, mind control, would that be an example of corresponding powers?" I asked them, very curious to know the answer, I may of had a theory. "Of course! Now you're getting it! Why though?" Alberta questioned me. "Because, Owen had a friend who got token away from him, Andrew, who had mind control. Owen, who had been clueless in the beginning, overused the time freezing and got tracked down by the government. Andrew in turn sacrificed himself. I went back in time to see it, it was horrible. And the government made Andrew control everyones mind to make whoever saw him forget about him." I said, remembering the scene that I saw a month ago.

"OMG! It makes sense now! That's why she looked so depressed! But that's what happens, we should get time going again, shouldn't we Petra?" Alberta asked. "Yeah, but she said telepathically to me, 'Where's your weapons? You want to be safe. Or are you too young, children?'. I never told you because it freaked me out at the time, but does that mean we all have special weapons?! If so then I sooo want a-" "Petra! Start time already!" Alberta said, interrupting Petra. Time started in a blink of an eye. "Wait on what you said, Petra, because Zoey, I have a theory on why you and Owen have corresponding powers." Alberta said, thinking hard. "If Andrew made everyone forget about his existence, then is it possible that he made you forget about the past that you and Owen may or may not if had?" Alberta exclaimed, looking very proud of her theory. "Maybe, but why would he do that?" I asked, still doubting her theory a bit. "No clue, you're the one who's supposed to know!" Alberta said angrily, not wanting to give up her theory. " ALBERTA! He's awake! Be quiet and start another conversation!" Petra snapped at us. Owen slowly stood, come over to us and asked, "So what did I miss?"


Authors note: First of all I just wanted to say that sorry that this took soooo long to make. I had 4 projects all due on the last week of school (yay me! Seriously, it sucked.). But don't worry people! I will always make more chapters for those of you who want to read them. Thanks for reading :3
