Jiro POV
When it was finally time. Yuuto grabbed his bag and we followed behind him. Michiko would be driven to school by mom and dad because she's too precious as the only daughter in the family to have power. Yuuto since he was a second year didn't need to go to the opening ceremony where everyone is gauges on the score board for powers. Hayami instead of us to go in the line went to the line for "defect children" about three others we're in the line with her.
"Look at that one defect. " said the guy next to us
"Are you talking to us" asked keiji
"Yeah but doesn't that one defect with the bun look hot. To bad she's a useless defect" he said
"Hey stop talking about are sister like that" I said. His face changed
"Sorry dude didn't know her. But you'd let meat her right? " he said Keiji was about to hit him before a girl with lightish brown hair with streaks of dark brown hit him over the head.
"Will you shut up dude. It's their sister. " she said. Her greenish blue eyes almost like the summer sea flashed.
"Sorry Hanna I forgot you we're there" he said. She shook her head at him before turning to us again
"Hi I'm Hanna and this is Zeus. My brother. Im sorry he was being a butt towards you and your sister" she said bowing to us.
"Uhh it's OK" said keiji. She smiled at him.
"It's nice meeting you two." She said bowing one last time before the announcement for the gauging to begin. The line moved slowly as numbers of 1 to 20 where called. Then finally it was me and keijis turn. Keiji went up the steps and he was told to hit the dummie. He lifted his land and lashed it down towards the dummie. blue vines lashed out and wrapped around the dummie ripping it to shreds. A 19.5 was called out and then I was called.
"You may attack the dumie now" said the man. So I did the same as keiji except this time green vines whipped at it hearing it to shreads also.
"19.5.you may go down now" he said. I nodded as the girl named Hanna was called up. I didn't hear what she said but all of a sudden the dummies flew into the air and exploded.
"We must test you one more time. Assistant grab the metals. " said the man. The woman next to him came out carrying three metal dummies. Hanna lifted her hand and whispered something. Wind started picking up. It was going so fast that her hair was whipping up around her. A light seemed to collect on the ends of her streached hand. Then she lashed down her hand. The dummies shot straight up the wind stopped and the light dissperssed before a huge light came out of the dummies and they dissentagrated and a huge boom and a lot of wind came.
"Above 20. Highest of the class we have seen so far" said the man. We all stood their shocked as she got off and walked towards a place to stand which was by hayami. She looked shocked that she would want to stand next to her. She greeted her cheerfully as we heard a 12.2 called out for Zeus. I watched as hayamis shocked expression turned to a smile.
"Hayami seems like she likes Hanna " said keiji
"Yeah I'm surprised" I said. We listened to the scores ranging from 2.0 to 20 get called out. Until they gave the defect group a pin to put on their shirt or coats to tell people. It glinted in the sun like a red flag to me as hayami pinned it right above her heart. She looked up and met my eyes and smiled at me.
"You may all find your teachers. And go to class" said the man I guessed was the principal. Luckily we had class with hayami. It turns out Zeus and Hanna are with us also. People stared at either hayami or Hanna as we walked past. Me and keiji following closely behind hayami while Zeus walked in front of Hanna. We entered the normal class room and sat down in are seats. Keiji on one side of hayami while I was on the other. With Hanna in front of her and Zeus two seats behind her. Are teacher Mrs. Choi slammed her hands down on the desk
"Listen up kids. I know all of you want to hurt defects. But listen up we have one in are class and no one will hurt her. Since she's my neice" she said. Wait what
"Your are aunt" I asked
"Yuno didn't tell you" she said. We nodded. She smiled at us
"Yep I'm a defects aunt and her two brothers also and if you attack them I report you to Mr.Xu. your principal so no one attack that defect. The others are free meat" she said everyone nodded and I saw Hanna smile a little. As we went through class I saw hayami studying hard until we got to the part about how they are still looking for the most powerful person. Techinicly they say that when that person awakens the world will shake and evil will fall on it's knees. And recently rumors have been spread that the person has arrived in Korea and is yet to awaken. They say it could be any defect. People looked at hayami like she would be a threat to their rank when it might not even be her.
"Mrs. Choi may I go the restroom" asked hayami. The teacher allowed her. We continued listening until thirty minutes later she wasn't back.
"Hanna as the representative for class please go find hayami" said Mrs. Choi and Hanna nodded and left. After twenty minutes Hanna ran back in looking terrified. She stuttered something to Mrs. Choi and then me and Keiji had to go with Hanna. She led us to the infirmanary as we walked in we saw hayami laid across the white bed sheets her clothes had to be taken off to heal everything. Several cuts and gashes covered her body. Two of the three doctors tended to her as the other yelled at a blue haired male.
Zeus POV
As soon as they left the teacher went more in detail.
"The rumors state that this God is a girl. The time she will activate is when the one she loves is killed by the one who hurt the girls lover before. And the lover will leave behind a child for the girl. They estimate she will be the last one to awaken in her school class and family. We just recently found out that this girl has moved to south Korea and is currently in the school. But they say this girl for unknown reasons may die before her time and it will be put to where the supposed to be dead lover will live and kill who ever hurt them and live on to take care of the child and tell tales of the one who died for them. The women of the one eye aka the people who are shamans and tell are futures have put out a photo of the girl when she awakens. And also a sketch of some her facial features now. These are the photos" said Mrs. Choi showing us the two sketches on the projector. On the side of the present their was small hands and twogoldish brown eyes. A nose that seemed almost a faint in between of being kinda big and dainty. A swatch of dark brown was next to it which Mrs. Choi said was the hair colour. And it showed the girls back their was six freckles and two scars their that made the shape of the big dipper. The two scars seemed to make a X in the scooping part of it. This could be anyone really. I mean half the kids here have different coloured hair but all the defect girls have the hair colour. Except for the one that has red hair from dying it last year from what I've heard. The awakened scetch was much more different. It showed a girl standing in carnage floating above the ones still looking. She seemed angry her eyes now one glowing blood red and the other electric purple that seemed to pulse. Her long hair was around her like vines . The hair was a stark white at first before going to a dark blue to black like a night sky. A grey dress semmed to swirl around her like a cloud. A ribbon that was a light blue was caught in time as I guess it fell from the girls hair. Faintly behind her was a giant white angel wing next to a giant black angel wing. She was holding out her hands like she was about to hug someone. I noticed how the girl resembled close to someone but I can't figure out who. The girls lips where a blood red and the girls bear feet showed from under her dress. She looked like she was yelling something
"This is what the girl they say will look like. It's hard to believe one the girl defect here will be her. But get ready for the the women of one eye say when it happens war will go to those who have hurt those she's protects and all of the ones she disagrees with." Said Mrs. Choi
