EJ, Rose and Toby, Broken

EJ got in bed. It was night, and Broken was still asleep. Toby came in. "Hey guys? Anyone up for a hunt?" EJ volunteered. "Here." Her got up, and kissed Rose. "I'll be back tomorrow." She paled. "Offendy." EJ gasped. "Watch Broken. He won't hurt you then. Relief flooded her face. "Okay." She went into Broken's room. She was awake, and trying to get up. "Stop. Don't strain yourself. You're sore." Broken nodded. "Everything hurts." She laid down. "Thank you. When I woke up, Toby had just left. I started freaking out. I don't like being so... Open." Rose nodded. She was scared of Offenderman.
Broken had fallen back asleep on her own. When Toby came in, he kept watching Broken. Rose went into bed, and curled up. EJ sat down, thinking. "Rose, what about Broken? We can't save her like she saves us. And she and Toby are in love." Rose nodded. "We have a while until he targets her. But remember, I can turn invisible." He nodded. "Don't hit yourself, Rose. I couldn't live with myself if you died." She nodded, taking off her cape. "What happened to us? All of us?"
EJ shook his head. "We embrace our futures. We embrace our inner killers." Rose nodded. "If you had to remove my kidney, would you?" EJ shook his head. "I wouldn't eat it. But I would take it." She blushed. "Jack, what have I become? I can't remember Slendy, who used to be a father to me." Her eyes wandered. "Now I remember. Now I really remember. Before, I didn't actually remember what love felt like. I just remembered friendship. Now, I truly understand. Jack, don't ever leave me." EJ pulled her close. "I won't."
She looked at him. "I can't believe it's not 9:30 already." She looked outside. He seemed distracted. "Jack, what's wrong?" He denied anything being wrong. "Nothing." "Jack, I need to know. Please." She pleaded. "Offenderman made a threat to you. He said he would kill you if I ever got to close to you." Tears ran down his eyes. His mask came off. "Rose, what do I do? I need to protect you?" She smiled. "It's okay. He can't hurt me anymore. Not with you. He doesn't scare me. He just wants fear. That's why he hit me. It why he... Attacked me." EJ looked at her. "I know. It's working."
"Jack, listen. I know he made a threat. But now I'm prepared. No matter what. Don't be afraid to get close." She kissed him softly. "I don't care." She continued. He laid down. "I'll stay with you from now on." EJ kissed her cheek. "Promise?" She nodded. She looked at him, and fell asleep in his arms.
