Temple of the Forgotten

There are people in this world, very few of them, who have the abilities to defy gravity, test reality, and entirely break the laws of physics. They were helpful. They saved lives. They were accepted and treated as normal people, but people change. They turn on you. They cheat, lie, but they took it to another level. They soon began treating them like animals. But a small group of people wanted to help them. Save them. They erased their memories and sent them to an island, not yet discovered by the rest of humanity. It seems like a paradise at first, but in reality, it is crawling with demons, monsters, vengeful spirits. In order to create a safe, peaceful place to live, they have to fight these creatures. Even if it means putting their lives on the line...

¨ Alright¨ David said.
¨We´ll go in my car. ¨
David´s car was a red S.U.V.
David drove, Brandon rode in the passenger seat, and everyone else was seated in the back. It was so hot, it was like sitting in a microwave. David started it up and turned on both the radio and air conditioner. He found a station that played pop, and just whatever else was currently popular. Jaiden put her earbuds in and turned on an MCR song. She hated most popular music. Yeah, she was one of those people. Sam looked out the window and watched cars go by and buildings fade into the distance. After a while, the mall faded too.
¨ Hey you passed it. ¨ He told David
¨ We came up with another idea on the way. ¨ He replied, his voice flat and low.
¨ Oh...¨ Sam said
¨Okay...¨
He suddenly felt uncomfortable. The way David said it wasn´t exactly reassuring. After about five more minutes, the car stopped. They were in a literal dark alley. It was pretty obvious by now that the mall was out of the question.
¨ Tell me this is a joke. ¨ Sam said, regretting ever having set foot in David´s car.
David slowly shook his head, smiling, and turned off the car.
¨Get out. ¨
