Chapter 4

We teleported into a forest. It was a dark night, misty.
"There she is" I heared Lilli cackle beside me. Following her gaze I spotted our target. She was sat on the log of a fallen tree braiding little white daisies into a flower crown. It was sickening.
"You're friends with her?" I questioned my eyes meeting Lilli's once more. She shook her head her menacing smile playing on her lips.
"No, not my friend, but hers" She taps the side of her head gently before giggling psychotically. I hum under my breath and force my eyes back onto the unsuspecting girl.
"So, how do you want me to kill her?" Lilli asks. The moon is soon enough covered by the fog blocking out most light. I smirk.
"Be creative."

"Hello, Sweetheart" Lilli cheered jumping from our hiding spot from behind the trees. Her bitter undertone was obvious, but the naive mortal didn't notice.
"Hey Lilli" Sweetheart waved shyly. I watched as Lilli's figure drew deeper into the fog. Now they were both nothing but silhouettes in the mist. I saw Sweetheart play with her hair and talk happily as Lilli got closer and closer towards her. I could barely make out the words.
"How..you..." Sweetheart asked.
"Amazing" Lilli replies.
"Why...that?"
"You don't want...know..." I heared her giggle. Soon Lilli was close enough and pounced onto Sweetheart who screamed giddily. Their figures disappeared in the fog. Soon Sweetheart's sequels become more panicked and loud until she was screaming for her life, begging even. With a loud crack of bones her cries were silenced. Silence. A sudden slash was heard and foot steps echoed around the woods. Lilli emerged from the fog, her eyes wide and grin even wider. She held a stick in one hand with the head of our victim while the other was dripping with blood. She went to swipe the sweat off her face and ended up smearing blood down her cheek. The insane glint never left her eye.
