Damn that necromancer!

We headed to the east sewer entrance because that was where the highest traces of necromantic magic was detected. As we headed down it wasn't the stench of the city's waste that bothered me, or the rats that scurried over my feet, it was the smell of rotting corpses.
We reached a bypass in the sewers and are halted by a stranger, in mutilated black robes. "This is the city malitia!" I called out, "Put your hands where I can see them and  walk forwards!" I hear a sound next to me and notice he was chanting and moving his hands. "how about You die here!" He shouts as he finished casting, and human-like bodies shot out of the murky depths of the water and attacked. Anna smashes them blow for blow, cleaving into them so hard they explode, Allan stabbing them with his spear and Allana pelting them with stones and plasky weakly stabbing at a zombie, and this left me in a wizards duel.
I finish my spell first, shooting a bolt of pure magic at him, and in return he throws three of them at me. I soon realized I was out of my league but I couldn't stop, I fired bolt after bolt at him and getting them in return, but I summoned a magical shield to protect me, while creating my telekinetic hand to throw some poop at him, just to try and blind him. I don't know if I killed him or not, but soon I turned my attention back to my companions.
Anna had a pile of corpses near her, building by the second, Allana was down and being protected by her brother, Plasky was still trying to kill the same zombie, and I charged in with my sword, slashing at whatever zombies were left. But I soon realised I was looking like a fool trying to slash at the last semi-unliving zombie.
I composed my self, and checked where I last saw my necro buddy. He was dead alright, his bones and skull broken by the impact of the bolts. "We need to keep moving, give Allana a potion and lets move!" And as we moved further into the sewers, a cold feeling of dread enveloped me...
