The Fall Of Solaris
(Just out of story this chapter is dedicated to @Goldmoon, who I appologize to)While we might of beaten this horde, more lumber around the city, burning it to the ground, killing everyone. Women, men, children, animals. Everyone was being slaughtered by these monstrosities. I knew we had no chance against this horde so we rushed to our only chance of survival... The mage tower.
We burst through the front door of the tower, throwing whatever we could at the horde chasing us. We then locked the door and started traveling up, as far as we could until we reached the archmages study. As soon as we went in, a massive, red and black skinned demon appeared, attacking and battering at us. The battle was chaos, our front liners getting battered and smashed at, while the archers and spell casters like me stayed in the back and threw whatever we had left at the beast. In the end, our paladin had died, victim to the monsters bite. And although the beast was felled, the room still felt... strange. things started to swirl, faces began to change and in the midst of it all I remembered who I am... I am Rathashan Ninelives, and I want to wake up.
