It was a cold winter day in Hyrule. Flurries of white snow floated down from the sky. The yard was covered in a blanket of snow, which glimmered like a thousand tiny crystals when light shone on it. You were sitting in your room reading a book. You carefully read each word, and with the end of each sentence, your mind sank more into the book. By the end of the first chapter, it felt like you were reliving your childhood. You were quickly pulled from this trance when you heard your door open. You walked to the door to see a male who seemed to be wearing the traditional Kokiri outfit, a green tunic and a matching hat. He was covered in snow. As the snow began to melt, you could tell that the male was none other than your best friend, and the hero of Time himself. Link said nothing, but just walked over to the fireplace. You could see why he wanted to have a fire. The poor hero had been gone for hours, and he was shivering badly. You went to grab some wood from the pile of logs in the spare room. You soon returned and built a fire to warm your home. Eventually, both you and Link headed to bed.
The next morning, you were awoken by the sound of your hero friend coughing. Without hesitation, you sat up and looked at Link. He smiled weakly. You sighed. "Link, did you get sick?" Link looked at you for a second and answered "No.........yes...." You sighed again. Placing a hand on the blonde's forehead, you clicked your tongue sympathetically. You murmured something and walked out of the room. The hero flopped down on the bed. "Of course I'd get sick today..." , he muttered, glancing at the pair of pink bunny slippers that was on the floor beside his bed.
~smol timeskip~
The door creaked open. You entered the room to see that Link had apparently buried himself under the covers. "Link? Link, how's the fever?" You asked. The flushed blonde Sat up and pushed the blanket off of his body, revealing pink, fuzzy bunny slippers. You chuckled at the sight of these. "Bunny......slippers?" You inquired. He nodded. A smile spread across your face. He sure looked cute with his slippers. "My feet were cold...", Link said, making you smile more. You sat down on the bed beside him and began to read your book to him. Maybe being sick wouldn't be as bad as he thought...
