The Future of Mobius [Jackie's Story]

Chapter 1: Eggbutt's gone too far!

I have been waiting a few hours for Sonic to return home from wrecking Eggman's plot. The kiss we shared still lies in my mind, that I sometimes drift back to that moment. I wish I could have savoured more of the kiss while I still could.
I feel the ground starting to shake. Like others, I run outside my house to see what is happening. Masses of strong waves are flying across the sky. So strong, it's almost impossible to resist it. A wave approaches me, and I counter-attack with a wave of my wind. It takes a lot of force, that it tries to push me backwards.
I try to plant my feet into the ground, so that I stay on one spot. I close my eyes and focus only on the wave approaching me, and my wave tackling it backwards. It causes a huge blow, that I am knocked to the floor, and my vision turns black.

"WHo iS She?"
"CaN We jUSt fOCus ON reTUrnINg hER to THe mASteR'S laIR?"
I wake up to two robots looking down at me. Wait, robots? That's not right. What's going on?
"Who are you?" I ask.
"THat IS noNE of YOur BUsiNEss, PAthETic MObiAN," the first robot says.
"OUr oRDerS Are TO taKE yoU To oUR maSTer," the second robots says. "HE wiLL deAL wiTH yoU The WAy hE WanTS to."
"Master? What? Who?"
But they do not reply. They try to grab my arms, so they may haul me away. I quickly roll away from them and sprint as fast as I can. I may not be as fast as Sonic, but I have to try and get away.
Not to mention get to the bottom of whatever is happening.

As I see a roof approaching, I hold my nerve. If I want to reach safety, I have to jump onto that roof, off this train.
I look behind, and see that the robots had followed me.
I growl. "Don't think about following me because you won't win!" I shout at them.
"OH, my DEar, I BelIEve WE wiLL," the first robot replies, and tries to fire at me.
Without hesitation, I jump onto the roof, landing feet first, with a few stumbles in my steps.
"GIve YOurSElf UP," the second robot tells me.
"COme WIth US, seRVe fOR loRD egGMan, ANd lIVe fOR loNGer," the first robot adds.
I look down the edge of the roof, and see a hole in the ground. An idea hatches in my head.
"I'd rather die than serve that Eggbutt!" I shout.
But was I really prepared to plunge myself towards death?
At least I wouldn't see this world.
I fall backward off the roof, plummeting to my death.
