Chapter 24 - Wedding Day

*A few weeks later*

Amaze’s pov

                I walk out of the dressing room in a blueish tux. I adjust the tie a little and I look in the mirror. “Dang this is a weird being in a tux. It’s so different to a hoodie and cargos. I then get my tie the way I want it and then I look at my claws and I grab the dog nail clippers and I slowly clip my claws. After i clip my claws I take a look at them and I smile a little and I walk out to the main hall for pictures to be taken and I notice how many people came to see the wedding and I realize that most of them are for skylar and only a few are for me.


Skylar’s Pov


I stood there looking into the mirror, scared and nervous. “ WAIT!” I yelled in a panicky tone. “What is it now,” Ziana mumbled, highly annoyed. “ I FORGOT….” I paused for a moment. “ I forgot...my….” “You forgot what you forgot?” Ziana asked still annoyed. “YES! I did!! We should postpone the wedding for maybe 5 years at the minimum and go home!” I was about to step off of the block but the designer of the dress pulled on some strings and I nearly suffocated, keeping me in place.”S-stop.. too tight” I desperately gasped for air and she grinned, loosening the strap around my waist “ Skyler, do you want to be married?” Ziana asked, as if she was about to go somewhere with that question.

I looked at her, confused why would she ask that. “No I dont, thats why I said yes when he purposed, that's why I moved in with him, that is the EXACT reason why I am in this wedding dress at my wedding!! Because I just don't wanna marry him,” I said sarcastically. That's when my mom walked into the room and closed the door quietly.“ You could have just said yes,” “Ask dumb questions you get dumb answers,” “Since when!?” “Since now,” “ What amazing wedding dress you have!” My mom tried changing the subject, and it worked. “ I know right..!” I smiled excitedly and Ziana sighed. “ It is pretty cute…”


Amaze’s pov

I take pictures with some of my friends and the best man and groomsmen. After the pictures I walk out to the main room and make sure everything's in order. “Does the ring bearer have the rings?” I ask a guest. “Yeah but you look like you need to chill for a moment.” the guest says. I think on that thought for a moment.




Skylar’s Pov
“So, can I go to take the pictures with family and friends””  I asked smiling. “No,” Ziana and my mother replied in sync. “What..? Why?” I asked, disappointed. “It's bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding,” my mom said “Yeah but~” “AND Before the actual, actual wedding like you walking down the aisle,” “Oh. . . he won't see me then” I grinned. “What do you~” I picked up my dress and got off the block. “Thank you guys!” I said out happily and opened the door to exit the room, but first I made sure no one was in the hallway. Then I picked up my dress again and ran down the hallway as quick as I could without tripping and not breaking my high heels. “Gots to Goes Fest!!” I mumbled and tried to find my way around without running into my fiancée. “Where are they taking the pictures?” I asked myself and ran into the main hall smiling. “Yes!” I thought to myself and started taking pictures as many people as I could, including the bridesmaids.


Amaze’s pov

I go to the men's bathroom and look in the mirror and i begin to groom my fur a little. “Oh come on how can it be to remember my vows? It’s just saying what i mean from my heart, right?” I ask myself as I groom my fur. After I finish grooming I hear the signal for the beginning of the wedding and I dash out the bathroom and straight to my position. “Okay Amaze, you got this. Here we go.” I said to myself as I wait.

Skylar’s Pov


“Okay, Sky time for your wedding!” Ziana reminded me. “ Oh! Right, just gotta, say my vows and say I do right!?” “Yeah that's all besides walking down the aisle,” I nodded and look around. “My father is..” “Waiting for you,” “ I knew it, he's amazing,”” I mumbled and walked out of the main hall looking for my father and when I found him, I was disappointed. “Dad….” he turns around with food stuffed in his mouth, he seems surprised. He chewed and swallowed his food then holding out his arm . “You ready to be married..?” he asked. “Yep!” I smiled and interlocked his arm with mine, then he guided me down the aisle with me smiling brightly.

Amaze’s pov

I heard the piano start playing and I turned my head to face the aisle and I see Skylar and her father walking down the aisle and I smiled and waited for them to reach me. I keep thinking in my head about my vows but i found myself too distracted by Skylar’s beauty.

Skyler’s Pov

I walked up to him happily. Then I remembered something I forgot. "...My Vows, what were my vows" I thought to myself panicking in the inside, but I looked as if a had everything planned out. My mind cataloged through everything excuse for forgetting my vows. There weren't any, then I remembered that I didn't write any. I looked up at him, smiling, and then at the priest.

Amaze’s pov

I smiled at Skyler and then I looked at the priest and nodded for him to begin and he nodded back and began talking. The priest began talking about the beginning of love and how it has affected Skyler and I. After a few minutes of the priest asked for the vows and I said “When i was a pup i promised my mother that when i found my mate, i’d care for her, I’d love her and give her all my attention and now that i’ve found my mate, I will care for you, i will love you till the end and even in the end i’ll still love you, I vow to love you and care for you even in the end, no matter what, That is my vow.”. The priest then nodded and turned his head to Skylar.


Skyler’s Pov

When the priest turned his head to me, I started to panic but then everything suddenly just came to me. “When I first met you Amaze i imminently wanted to get to know you. And the more I was around you the more I started to realize that I wanted to spend my life with you. Now knowing that I'm here and it's not a dream i just want to say I love you and always will. Through thick and thin, through sickness and health i promise to cherish my lifetime with you till the end,”  and I looked at Amaze with a smile.

Amaze’s pov

I smiled and the priest asked for the rings and the ring bearer came up with the rings. I got the rings and i handed one to Skyler and i held the other one and the priest asked “Amaze Stark. Do you take Skyler Smith as your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, to care for her in sickness and in health?”. I smiled and looked into Skyler’s eyes and said “I do.”. Then the priest turned his head to Skylar and asked “Skyler Smith. Do you take Amaze Stark as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, to care for her in sickness and in health?”.

Skyler’s Pov
“I do,” I smiled happily trying my hardest to fight back the tears.


Amaze’s pov

The priest then smiles at us and says “Now by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife, You may now kiss the bride.”. I smile and put the ring on Skylar as she puts the one on me and I pull her to me and I kiss her. I hear the crowd cheer and applaud but I tune it out keep kissing Skylar.



Skylers Pov

I blushed when everyone started to applaud, but we kept kissing. Then I pulled away looking into Amaze’s eyes smiling happily.


Amaze’s pov

I looked back into Skylar’s eyes and said “I love you.”. I couldn’t stop staring into her eyes and I knew she couldn’t stop staring into mine and I smiled at that as I knew this was the beginning of an all new adventure.


Skyler’s Pov

I didn't wanna look away from him one second “ I love y~” “Uhh super sorry for ruining this beautiful moment but uhh...there's still a cake that needs to be cut and pictures that need to be taken...and well you gotta also talk to people,” Ziana says and smiles sweetly. I glanced at her and then back at Amaze finally taking all of this in, and I started to blush even more. “Uhh Right! People at the wedding! My Wedding!”


Amaze’s pov

I smile and look at the crowd and I hold my arm out for Skylar to take and I head for the cake. Once we get to the cake I put one hand on the handle if the knife and I watch skylar put hers on mine and we both cut the cake together and we share each other's piece.

Skyler’s Pov
All I thought of when he put the cake in my mouth was “Delicious” and I smile.The crowd took pictures and smiled happily. Then I noticed something on Amaze’s snout, cake frosting and I start to giggle.

Amaze’s pov

I smile at Skylar and I looked at my snout and saw frosting and I wiggled my nose some then i licked it off. I then lead Skylar to the dance floor and nodded to the DJ I hired and our song began to play and started to dance with her.

Skyler’s Pov
I smile at Amaze while we dance, thinking about how much I would treasure this moment.




Amaze’s pov

I smile at Skylar and I hear the DJ say it’s time for the bride to dance with her father. I smile and stop dancing and I hand Skylar to her father and I go sit down.

Skyler’s Pov

I smile and look at my father as he gets up and walks over to me. “ You seem very happy,” he said to me casually as he grabbed my hand and put one arm around my waist. “ Because it’s my wedding day! And I…” I stopped and smiled brightly. “ I become Skyler..Stark!...” I mini squealed and my dad laughed. “ If you’re happy I’m happy!” he smiles and twirls me around. I hug my dad happily and kiss him on the cheek. “ Thanks Dad!”

Amaze’s pov

I watch Skylar and her father dance and then I look over in the corner of the room and I see visions of my adoptive mother smiling and congratulating me on marrying the perfect woman.

Skyler’s Pov

My mom walks over and smiles, “ So something very important needs to happen,” she looks at me with a very serious face, and started to make me worry. “Uh.um w-what is it?” “Grandchildren,” “??” then she grabs my hands and looks at me. “ You need to have kids,” then my face turned red. “Welp that's enough of that!” My dad came to my rescue dragging my mother away, but it was too late. My mind was stuck on that topic. “ Kids..?” I thought and looked at my mother giving me the thumbs up sign. “Doesn't matter!! “ I shook my head and headed to my parents, then they followed me to Amaze. “My father and mother would like to say somethings to you!”. My dad pulled out a list and gave it to Amaze “ These are things you aren't allowed to do with my daughter,” He gives off a threatening smile and I just nod, thinking lots of things.

Amaze’s pov

I tilted my head in confusion to the list then I looked at Skylar then to the list and I read them and my tail swayed at some of the thoughts that came to my mind at some of them then I said “I promise not to do anything to her that she’s not comfortable with.”.

Skyler’s Pov


Then it was my moms turn to speak, “ Just make her happy,” she smiles and then I stop nodding and smile finally paying attention to the conversation. “And later on, maybe, just maybe, have some kids,” she continues to smile and I drift off in thought again.  “ Haha doubt it,” my dad said looking at my mom and walking away with her. I look at Amaze and smile nervously “ Um Ignore everything they said, they’re weird…..”

Amaze’s pov

“Oh trust me i’mma keep my word and i’ll only do what you’re comfortable with and If you don’t want me drinking, I’ll stop.” I said. I then let the rest of the wedding go as planned. “I do have one question though, Would you want kids?” I asked as I turned my head to Skylar.

Skyler’s Pov

I nod slowly, replying yes. “Although I don't know when we could have some, and i'm perfectly okay with you drinking,” I smile. “ And It wouldn’t be fair if you couldn’t drink, but I could!” then I grew silent and looked down for a moment. “Would you want kids..?”


Amaze’s pov

“Yeah I would, in a few more hours we’ll be off to our honeymoon, everyone will be heading home and we can spend time together without any distractions.” I said. I then smile at Skylar and sat in my seat and ate some cake.

Skyler’s Pov

I nod and glance around smiling happily. “ Here,” Ziana walked over and gave me a slice of cake. “ Oh no, you can have it!” I forced a smile upon my face knowing I really wanted the cake. “ I know you want it, take it,” she forces me to take the plate by almost dumping it on my dress. “Thank you!” I said happily and take a bit, and then another one. Ziana laughed quietly and walked away.

Amaze’s pov

I smiled and ate my cake and I silently dashed over to the food table and grabbed a plate of chicken then I silently dashed back to my seat with the chicken and I began eating. “This food is good.” I said.


Skyler’s Pov

*30 minutes later* The wedding was slowly coming to an end and Amaze and I walk towards our car. My mind imaged it as our wedding and soon to be forever car. I was holding a bouquet of flowers ready to throw directly at Ziana’s head. “I'm so excited!” I kinda whispered and looked at Amaze, smiling. “ I hope he's happy too,” I thought to myself and heard my friends screaming out to me. “CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!” one of the screamed and another one was in tears. I mouthed thank you, happy to have friends like that.


Amaze’s pov

I looked Skylar in the eyes and I nodded ready for us to leave for the honeymoon. “Whenever you’re ready.” I said.

Skyler’s Pov

“I’m ready! I can’t wait!” I say happily and nod. “ But I really can’t wait to throw this bouquet at Zianas head!!” I thought to myself and start to laugh evilly looking at the bouquet.

Amaze’s pov

“Well whenever you’re ready to throw it then we’ll be off.” I said with a soothing smile.

Skyler’s Pov

I nod and turn around looking for Ziana and when I find her I aim and throw it straight towards her and it hits in the head. “YES!!” I whisper yell and turn back around. “Okay let's go!” I look at Amaze and smile

Amaze’s pov

I chuckle a little bit then I turn around and face our new Lamborghini Veneno and I walk over to the driver’s side and I open the door and get in. “i did request something speedy and they’ve outdone it.” I said as I turned on the car.

Skyler’s Pov

I turn and see the car and my eyes widen. “Th-they did!!” the shock was clear stated in my voice as I walk over and open the door. The second I get in, a wave of excitement rushes through me. “It looks so nice!!!” I mumble and look around.

Amaze’s pov

I look at Skylar and smile. “Let’s go.” I say. I then step on the gas and the car makes a quick acceleration and peels off towards the road. I then open the window to feel the wind in my fur.
