The life of a anthro Fox

Chapter 18 - Fight of dimensions

                I watch the blur of orange then I look up and see two floating things in the air and one has mechanical wings and the other I'm not sure about. I look back down at the blur and I slow time for myself and I see the blur is actually a fox like me but wearing a bronze colored long coat with a hood and googles that seemed to match the rest of his apparel. Time returns to normal for me and I see a girl drop down from a nearby rooftop and kick me back and I land on my back and slide a few feet unable to recover from the sudden attack and I hear Skylar yell my name and rush to with the other two.

                I hear the flapping of of metal wings, a set of metal boost that look like rocket boots that seem to be powered by steam and a quick stop of feet stopping a few feet in front of me as I slowly get up. I look at the four steampunk persons and they each seem to be shocked by the way we look. I stand and the steampunks get ready for a fight and I say "Hey there's no need for you to fight us.". The fox growls and says "You're obviously not from around here and we don't like outsiders.". I think about what the fox said for a minute then I shrug and get ready for a fight.

                The steampunks dash at Me, Skylar, Ziana, and Luna and we block each of the attacks and I grab the fox's arm and I toss him up and I backflip kick him when he comes back down and he gets knocked to a rooftop and I run to then up the wall and I jump onto the roof and I fight the steampunk fox and he fights back. After a few minutes of fighting I backflip kick the fox and he gets knocked back and he struggles to get up then he passes out and I smirk and drop down off the roof and look at Skylar, Ziana, and Luna and the knocked out steampunks and we nod to each other.

                I hear my device beep and signal it being ready for use and I nod and say "Okay we've had our fun now let's go home.". Skylar, Ziana, and Luna and walk to me and they each grab onto me and I activate the device and everything freezes and turns negative and a portal opens and we're pulled through and in a flash of light I open my eyes and I look around the living room of our home.
