lilly khan get down here this instantcoming mum i called.
as i climbed down the stairs mum said you have a letter.
thank gods i mummered she had not found out about me taking off with the ladder while kids were on top of the library and getting caught while doing so at school.
i opened the letter and read aloud:
lilly khan we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into hogwarts school of witch craft and wizadry. you will start on september 1st and are to go to
platform nine and three quaters. you will need the following.
i screamed with delight i never knew there was actually a hogwarts i had always thought it was just a story called harry potter.
mum carefully read the letter and said right time for the truth.
lilly i am a witch and your father is a wizard we didnt want you to get mixed up in all this so we never told you
we were scared that if you went you wouldnt want to come back she said all this in one breath.
i said of course i will come back always to the day i die.
she smiled.
she then said right time to go to diagon ally to get your books and wand.
