Unbreakable home
Changes happen so quickNever imagined I would
Feel like this
Leaving the barren land
with some memories
of growing up with
the kids of my age
Rough chains, Those
iron rods hit against.
Hands back, rope slash
But mamma said
You'll see better things
surely again
They marched in those lanes
Shooting bullets everywhere
Mamma said run away
Chasing us they led us
to a place unknown
You showed me the way
to that country house
The green creepers , Pots of clay
Said" your'e gonna stay here"
The smile on my face
wasn't enough to say
how grateful i felt.
Your warmth gave me
a shelter which healed
all those scars
Which i assumed to stay.
Hut or palace
they never be the same
but the strongest building
is the shelter these
people gave me
A thankyou is not enough
for me to return the favour
A simple sorry can never
make me forget
how much pain i gave
My happy ending
is just a beginning
I want things to be like this
Don't wanna again feel
those knives making
their way out.
I'm so happy it makes me shout
out those words i held back
those feelings i had
since you gave me your hand
I've been strong and bold
till now and there's no
fear, as , if i collapse
you'll be there to hold
I could hear mamma
whispering from the skies
"you got a new home,
isn;t it great"
