Mirabel was shocked at carmens behavior and tried to ask carmen what was going on but carmen only shushed her as she kept running, away from the town and past the river where the first miracle was given. Carmen finally reached her father and set mirabel down giving mirabel the candle and backed away.

Corvo looked at his daughter confused "sweetie? I thought i told you i was gonna be gone for a wh-" he stopped as he saw mirabel holding the miracle candle and raised a brow "i am not giving her memories back!" Corvo went to run away but was tackled down by his daughter as she looked at mirabel and nodded. Mirabel held the candle to corvos face which took his memory gift away and the candle began to glow as mirabel showed it to carmen.

Carmen watched the candle and suddenly everything became clear to her. She remembered her friends, she remembered who her true family was. Carmen hugged mirabel tightly "mirabel! Thank you! I didn't think I'd ever get my memories back" mirabel smiled and hugged back tightly "we're friends carmen that's what friends are for! Besides....how...did you know to..." Mirabel pointed to corvo who layed on the ground upset. Carmen shrugged "I don't know.... I looked at the candle, felt... Connected to it and i saw something in my mind about you doing something to my father with the candle so i assumed it was to help me" she explained.

Mirabel smiled "come on let's go home Carmen" carmen shapeshifted into a white horse and mirabel hopped on. When they arrived back at the casita everyone was relieved that mirabel was ok. "Camilo!" Carmen smiled and camilo looked at her eyes filling with happy tears "you... You remember me?" He hugged carmen tightly. "Heh of course i do you goofball!" She hugged back and felix smiled seeing his son so happy. Bruno ran over "carmen?"

Carmen looked over at her best friend and hugged him "bruno I'm so sorry i forgot who you guys were.... I can't imagine how devastated you guys were especially you bruno and camilo" carmen looked down feeling guilty but everyone hugged her assuring that everything was fine and that they would love her no matter what happened. Carmen knew how much the madrigal family loved her and for once she felt like she was finally home.
