Story 1 - Part 2 [Near Death, Then Saved]
Sakura kept walking. She was now far away from the Evil Coven, but she knew she still wasn't safe. Even as she was walking, Mistress Maura was preparing a hunt to find and retrieve Sakura. Then Sakura would be given a punishment worse than anything she had ever experienced. Worse than the whipping, the starving, everything. The very idea makes her shudder in fright.
Sakura continued walking, but she started to feel tired. Her only problem is that she had no camping equipment with her. Where would she sleep? How would she start a fire? What if it rained? 'Does it even rain anymore?' Sakura thought. With her being trapped in the Evil Coven for seven years, it was no wonder she questioned the weather. As she collected two sticks, she thought about if the world had changed at all. She has never seen any of it since she was kidnapped. It felt good to her, to see the open once again. She only had one problem, however. One major problem.
How was she, at eleven years old, going to survive outside by herself, in unclaimed Coven territory?
The only way she would find the answer would be to try her hardest to survive.
Sighing, she continued to walk, now looking for stones as a border of her fire.

A light finally sparked from the stick. Fire! Sakura had finally made fire! She was so relieved to finally gain some warmth. Now that she had a method of keeping herself safe at night, the grass felt warm and comforting. The sky was pitch black, with stars everywhere, surrounding a crescent moon. Its white rays shone over, and Sakura felt happy watching its beauty. She felt relieved, as if someone was watching over her from the moon, protecting her.
She soon heard a nearby rustle. Just as she was trying to sleep, too... She stood up, scared. It could be a warrior from the Evil Coven. It would make sense if it was, to be honest. But she was defenceless against them. No weapons on her or anything. A shadow soon approached. She held two daggers, but a longsword was kept in a sheath on her belt.
"There you are, little pest."
Sakura kept walking backwards slowly. "Who are you?"
"My name is Dari," she replied. "Mistress Maura has sent-"
Before she could finish, Sakura suddenly shouted in anger. "TO HELL WITH YOUR MISTRESS!"
That made Dari angry. She placed her daggers back into her belt, pulling out the longsword from its sheath.
"Never.... disrespect... Mistress... Maura!"
"Why shouldn't I?!"
"She's YOUR Mistress, too!"
Sakura's fists clenched in anger. "Not anymore! I'm declaring myself free!"
Dari lunged towards Sakura, her sword shining in the moonlight. Sakura's eyes closed. Was this it? Was this how her life would end? Sliced at the hands of a loyal warrior of the Coven that kidnapped her? Was this her punishment for escaping?
She braced herself for her end.

Only....
It never came.
Sakura opened her eyes. A woman in a green dress was standing in front of her, fighting Dari. This woman was incredibly powerful, and covered in beauty from head to toe. Her long brown hair naturally curled, changing to a beautiful shade of blonde halfway. Around her neck was a golden chain necklace, with a ruby jewel. Raising her hand slowly, the ground beneath Dari started to shake, as it separated from the rest. But she wasn't fooled. She jumped down in time. As she landed, she squinted her eyes, meaning she must have hurt her ankle. But still, she held back her cries of pain, glaring at the woman.
"You goody-goody Mistresses make me sick," Dari spat
"And you make me sicker," the woman responded. "Now leave, and don't challenge me again."
Dari darted behind the woman, knocking Sakura over in the process. Sakura fell head first into the ground, as her vision began to fade.
The last thing she saw before her vision completely faded to black, was the woman kneeling beside her, and picking her up in her arms.
