~from Guide to Imaginarium
One fine evening, Kyronalaki and Deleria were sitting upon a tower's roof. Kyronalaki, busy with moving his stars, and Deleria, stunned by her love's beautiful display, were unaware that someone was listening. For many years, Kyronalaki has wondered about Deleria's eyes. One, on the right side, was a swampy green. The other, on the left side, had never been opened. So it was this night that he decided to ask her what it is about her eye."Oh my lovely Deleria, your many wonders have pondered me for years," he said. "But I have wondered most about your eye."
"My dearest Kyronalaki, I am sorry to tell this to you, but I will never be able to open it in your presence." Deleria replied.
"I will never hate you, my shiny star," he whispered.
Meanwhile, sitting inside the tower, a nymph with the ears and tail of a wolf was listening as she watched Kyronalaki's stunning display of stars, all In their places.
"If only I could make her eye open, the heart of Kyronalaki will be mine," the nymph chuckled. "If so, I, Mybsia, will be the most important creature in this city!"
Suddenly, she flashed her eyes grey, as did Deleria's right eye. She closed her eyes, and so did Deleria.
"I, Mybsia, will rule the stars!" Mybsia tilted back her head and howled. Deleria went limp on the roof top, whilst Kyronalaki had yet to notice, for he was busy on his work. Then, the eyes of Deleria, both, slowly opened. As the left one opened, Kyronalaki's perfectly placed stars began to shift. At this, he jumped back and gasped, letting go of the star he was presently moving. The shifting stars started forming shapes, of which, one of the shapes represented Orion, the hunter killed by the scorpion. Another represented the scorpion, and another was Heracles's pegasus.
And that is how the constellations formed.
