Chapter 3

Cindy's Pov)
Scarlet and I were walking home after talking to Ivy. But there's one thing I don't know and that was, where is Samantha? Yes, I know that she went to Skystead, well I think she did. But She hasn’t rung anyone to say that she made to Skystead or if she is ok.
I kept thinking about Samantha when Scarlet tapped me on the shoulder and asked “Electra just texted me and said that she and Jaz are on their way here” I sigh in relief and smiled. At least we knew where Jaz and Electra were. I should tell Ivy as well, so that she also knows.
Then I arrived at my house with Scarlet and we both walked inside. There was a note on the table near the door. It said "To Cindy, if you are reading this then you must have gotten my letter. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you where I was going. But someone ask me to go to Skystead for something but to be honest, I didn't want to go. I wish I was still in Crystalfell with you and everyone else but I had no time to tell anyone. I hope I can come back when this people says I can go. From Samantha." After I read the letter, I had mixed emotions, like shocked and some sad. To be honest I thought that Samantha had just left for Skystead without saying anything, but I was wrong. I showed the letter to Scarlet and let her read it. After she read the letter, her facial expression was speechless. “So, Samantha did leave us a note after she left. I suddenly feel sorry for her.” I nodded as well.
I then heard a knock on the door, I wonder who it is. "Who is it?" "It's Jaz and Electra" I quickly race over to the door and opened it and sure enough, there was Jaz and Electra standing there waving. "Hi Jaz and Electra, how have you been?" Jaz replied "I'm fine" "Same here" Electra then asked "Have you heard any news?" Suddenly Ivy walked up behind Electra and hugged Jaz, I shake my head "no, what's new?" Electra looked at Jaz then to me "There's been a fire in Skystead, Jaz and I don't know if anyone was hurt or not but we saw smoke coming from Skystead.” As soon as Scarlet, Ivy and I heard this, we were all shocked and I think I was also a little bit upset. I just hope that Samantha got out of there before the fire.

This is starting to get every interesting. I wonder if no one was hurt in Skystead. Also, now that Cindy and Scarlet have found out that Samantha had to go to Skystead by some random person, they really feel sorry for her. Also now the group is all together (well apart from Samantha) but for how long?
