City of Flames

Chapter 1

The sky was pitch black and the only sounds that could be heard were owls hooting, animal, the moon shining and the shadows of clouds in the sky. Most people would or should be asleep at night but not everyone's asleep. Up in the mountains, there is a dark cave, but if someone was at to go into the cave and walk for a couple of minutes. I would see some light, why? Because in this cave is one of my friends. I know it might sound strange but it's true. I'll tell more in the morning, after I get some rest.

In the morning (Ivy's POV)
“Hey Ivy, have you heard the news today?" Cindy asked me. "No, why are you asking?" I asked back, very confused. "Because the news people are saying that someone or something attack Oro Valley during the night and then set one little part of Oro Valley on fire. Lucky the fire is out now but I wonder who could've done something like that? Also have you seen any of our friends?" I noticed Scarlet walking towards us "I don't know where Jaz, Electra or Samantha are but I see Scarlet walking towards us, so maybe she knows where they are and or who caused the attack/ fire in Oro Valley?"

As Scarlet came closer, she had a facial expression that said " why did something attack Oro Valley" "Hi Scarlet, I'm guessing that you heard the news about Oro Valley?" Scarlet nodded, " I have and no one seems to know much about the attack in Oro Valley apart from us, also I haven't heard from Jaz or Electra yet because I know that they were going towards Oro Valley before the fire and the attack happened, I just hope that they are ok." I didn't realize that Jaz and Electra went towards Oro Valley, but I had lots of questions running through my mind. I had to ask one of lots of questions "Scarlet, do you know where Samantha is?" "I haven't heard from Samantha since this morning and she said that she was going to Skystead for some reason I don't know"

20 minutes later.
Just then, my phone started ringing, I had to answer the phone.
"Hello Ivy speaking, who's this?"
"It's Jaz here, have you heard the news about what happened in Oro Valley?"
"Yes, I just heard about twenty minutes ago from Cindy about what happen in Oro Valley. Are you ok Jaz?"
"I'm fine Ivy. As soon as Electra and I heard about what had happened in Oro Valley, we decided to not go to Oro Valley. Instead we went to Sea sky city and also something seems to be very strange."
"What's that Jaz? What seems to be strange?"
"When we come to Sea Sky city, no one seemed to know what happened in Oro Valley, instead they were talking about all sorts of different things like what happened in City of Fire, the sports and much more. It was weird that, no one had notice that there was an attack and a fire in Oro Valley. Also I heard that the fire was put out which is good."
"That's great news Jaz, when are and Electra coming back here?"
"We'll be back this afternoon. Anyway, I better go, I'll see you this afternoon.'
"Bye Jaz, stay safe."
I hang up the phone and put it away into my side pocket. I then realized that Cindy and Scarlet had left, so I decided to walk home.

You know what's funny? So far, everyone apart from a couple of people have heard about the fire and the attack. I wonder who was responsible for the trouble? Anyway, what could happen if another city or town or valley gets destroy and then someone gets the blame, who could it be? let's find out, should we?
