Swift wandered alone down the hallway, torn apart by her fight with Jackie. All seemed lost. Their long friendship, years of being close together, best friends, the promise to "always stay together"... Was it all gone in just a few short seconds?
"For her to say such things to me..." she muttered to herself. "If she starts to hate me... I..." Now, she was almost in tears. She folded her arms, hands on her elbows, looking down at the wooden floor. "It's my fault..." Her eyes began to water, not just with sadness, but with doubt, and guilt. "I have to apologise, and get her to forgive me." But as she was about to turn around to walk back to Jackie, something called to her.
"Swift... listen to me, Swift..."
The voice faded into Swift's head, empowering her body, possessing her. "Someone is calling me..." her voice changed, much to a mono-toned voice. She kept walking forward, unaware of her own actions. "Jackie?"

Jackie was still on her knees, looking down at the wooden floor, just like Swift was. She too was feeling responsible for the fight. If she had just kept calm about the situation, it would not have happened.
"Why did I say such horrible things to her...?" Deciding to do the right thing, she rose to her feet, but still she stared at the wooden floor. "I have to apologise to her..." And so she faced the direction she last saw Swift run off towards, and began to walk down the hallway, in search of her friend, of whom she owed an apology.

Up blooded stairs that drenched with corpses, along dark and narrow hallways, no sign of cowardice to the lightning, nor to the thunder, Jackie didn't stop searching for Swift. She would not rest until she had found her. As she walked up the stairs, she felt nauseous at the sight of decapitated heads, organs separated from bodies, blood spewed everywhere along the stairs, and yet she did not care. All she cared about was finding Swift, and apologising to her. As she reached the top, the same clock from before struck. Though it startled her at first, Jackie kept walking, and kept searching, until she trampled on something. A small medicine pot. She picked it up, carefully examining it. "Didn't I give this to Swift not so long ago?" Then, to her right, was a bathroom. "Swift must have went in there..." She opened the main door into the bathroom. "Swift? You're in here, right?"
No response came.
"Hey... listen... About before... umm..." But she never got to finish her statement. She spotted an open cubicle door. Though it was slightly open, it stood out to her. Slowly she walked forward, stopping at the door. "Swift? Come on, no one likes getting the cold shoulder."
Slowly, she opened the door... and gasped. Inside the cubicle was Swift, hanging from a rope around her neck.
"Sw-Swift...?" But Swift would not respond, and Jackie lost it. "WHY?! SWIFT, WHY DID YOU HANG YOURSELF?!" She wanted to burst into tears, when she saw Swift grab a hold of the rope. "Swift?!"
"So-rr-" Swift tried to speak, but it was fortunate that Jackie could understand what she was saying. "So-rr-y..."
"No! Don't apologise! I'm the one who should be apologising!" Jackie grabbed the rope, looking at Swift. "Come on, we're getting you down from there." She tried to take the rope off, but it dug deeper into Swift's neck.
"Bu-ck-et..."
"Hold on, I'm getting you something to stand on!" Rushing out the cubicle, Jackie eyed a bucket. "That's what Swift meant..." She ran towards it, but the bucket was filled with intestines, blood, and eyeballs ripped from their sockets. In a hurry, she picked it up, and threw the disgusting organs onto the floor, and rushed back to Swift.
But it was too late. Jackie dropped the bucket in fear.
Swift was gone. Now she was only a hanging corpse. The rope had dug too far into her neck, thus snapping it.
Jackie sunk to her knees, crying. "NO! WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?! YOU WERE LAUGHING JUST A WHILE AGO! AND YOU PROMISED WE'D GO HOME TOGETHER! No... this isn't real... Please Swift... don't leave all alone here... Just answer me, Swift, PLEASE ANSWER ME!!!"
At the doorway stood the same little girl in the red dress from before, watching Jackie as she mourned. One smirk from the girl, and she vanished.

In just a few hours, Jackie Nakashima went from having fun with her friends in the classroom, to watching one of them die in front of her very eyes.
This reality... There is no way she can accept it.
However, this is a place where anything can happen.
