The Legend of:Bear Claw

The Campout

Long ago in 1860,there was a camp out at Washington.There was a bunch of kids and two leaders.There was only about 10 kids.They set up tents.Drake and Alexander went to go chop wood with a ax that a leader brought.They then found a stone when they were walking back Drake saw something like a big furry foot, but he thought it was his imagination cause he then looked back at it and it was gone.They gave the stone and wood to Tim.Tim set up a fire cage and lit it on fire.They then ate some food like marshmallows and hot dogs.They ate marshmallows on sticks.Then they told the legend big foot.They finally said good night and went to bed in there tents.They all turned on their   flashlights and lanterns.Then it turned Mid-Night.Drake heard a crack noise.Then heard it again.So drake got up to go see who it was.He walked in the forest.He kept on hearing it.So then he walked to the right.Then he kept walking.And he felt something grab him in the back.It was Bear Claw! Bear Claw had grabbed him in the back and put him on his shoulder.Bear Claw started walking back to his shed where he lived.At the end of the forest underground.Bear Claw finally got there at 2:00 in the morning.He dropped Drake in the shed.Bear Claw then took his claws and scraped Drakes face.Bear Claw then put him out of the shed.Drake was asleep cause he fell asleep at the walk to the shed.Then he woke up cause he heard the shed close.Drake felt his cheek burning.And stand up he saw the shed.And there was a pond around the shed.And there was a bridge.He used some of the water on his cheek.Then he ran off the bridge to find his camping spot.He kept on running and running.He finally saw a lot of lanterns shining at a place at 5:00 in the morning.It was the camp spot.He saw his leader Tim and his parents talking.Dad and Mom! he yelled.He ran up to his Dad.His dad had his little sister which was 5 in his hands.His dad hugged Drake tightly.His Mom stand up and hugged Drake.Drake said I ran all the way here.It was like two hours to run here.I got this mark in my sleep I put water on it though,said Drake.Okay said his Dad.Drake then died a few weeks later cause his scrap on his cheek had diseases in it.The other boys in the camp got injured by Bear Claw,too.At that week when Drake got injured the only ones left was the leaders and 6 kids [Jackson,Jason,Alexander,Katy,Samantha,and Haley]
