Thunder and Lightning

"This is crazy. I cant believe that we're doing this." Thunder whispered. "Just shut up." Lightning whispered. King Sonic stood in front of the guards. "Shadow is back to take over Mobius. You know the drill, beat him." He said. Lightning and Thunder looked at each other. The line of guards started to move, so Lightning and Thunder followed. They marched for a couple hours until... "AAAHH!" Everyone stopped. Lightning and Thunder squeezed they're way up front. There was a guard, bleeding. "Who could have done this?" Lightning thought to her self. They heard someone laugh, then a black and red hedgehog came out of nowhere. The guards pulled out their swords ready to fight. The hedgehog laughed again a punched Thunder. "No!" Lightning yelled rushing over to her brother. "Wha-"

"You jerk!" Lightning said interrupting Shadow. She shot a lightning bolt at him and electrocuted him. He stood up. Everyone started fighting off Shadow as Lightning comforted her brother. "Chaos... BLAST!" Shadow yelled. Everyone went flying backwards as Shadow laughed. He pulled Lightning up by the collar. He pulled off her helmet and gasp. "You're, you're a-"

"A girl!" She said. Shadow shook his head and threw her on the ground. He picked up Thunder and pulled out his sword. He raised it to Thunder's throat. "NO! STOP!" Lightning yelled. Shadow slight Thunder's throat and threw him on the ground. "NOO!" Lightning yelled. She rushed over to her brother and laid her head on his chest. "Stay with me brother! Don't leave me!"

"Ugh... Lightning?" Thunder mumbled. Lightning started to cry and held his hand. Shadow stood over them with his sword in the air. "How could you?" Lightning asked. "How could you?!"

"How could I what?" Shadow asked. "How could you do this to the Prince of Planet X?" Lightning asked. Shadow dropped his sword. "You mean... who's you're mother?"

"Ezra, Queen Ezra." Lightning sobbed. Shadow looked down. "I'm sorry. I didn't-"

"Shadow!" Sonic snapped. Shadow glared at him and pulled out an emerald. "Chaos... CONTROL!" He yelled. He disappeared and Sonic rushed over to the twins. Thunder was now bleeding and Lightning sat in his blood. Sonic pulled Lightning away. "NO! Leave me alone!" Lightning demanded struggling to get away. Triforce got up and lead Lightning back to the castle. Lightning sniffled and Triforce held her hand. "Your brother will live. I promise."

"Thank you." Lightning said. Triforce smiled at her. "Come on, you need a tour of Mobius." He said.
