Thunder and Lightning

It was the day that Lightning and Thunder finally get to see their parents. They were in a carriage on their way to their parents castle. "I'm so excited!" Lightning said. Thunder just starred out the window. "How's your throat?" Lightning asked. "Fine." He mumbled. She elbowed her brother and smiled. "Don't be so... grumpy."

"I'm not grumpy. I'm just nervous." He admitted. "Don't be. I bet our mom and dad are the nicest people in the world." She said. The carriage stopped and they exited the carriage. "How do I look?" Lightning asked. "You look... nice." Thunder choked out the words. Lightning glared at Thunder and walked up the castle. She sighed and turned to her brother. "Can you-"

"Sure." He said. He knocked on the door and waited. A purple chameleon opened the door and his mouth fell open. "Are you... King Espio?" Lightning asked. "Yes." He said. Lightning hugged him and started to cry. "Daddy." She cried. "It's ok Trixie." Espio said.
