My Story About My Crush | Chapter 1

I have No Idea what I'm doing

I talk to my friend Kate outside the YMCA. It's after swim team and I'm talking to her about school. "OMG! Did you really say that to her?" I ask. "Yep." Kate says. We continue our conversation as I tap my foot against the wall next to the door. Then I tell her about Kindergarten. "So, Vittorio punched me and I told my teacher, and guess what she said." "What?" "MIND YOUR OWN BUSSINESS!!! I WAS BEYOND MAD!!!"  We chat more until I see something else to pay attention to. Is it a plane? NOPE! Is it a flying taco cats? No. Its a BOY. I start to ignore everything Kate says as I stare. At one point he notices and says "Hey Emma." I face turns tomato red. "Can I talk to you? Private?" "Sure." I say. We go in the parking lot as Henry says "Emma. Do you like me?" "Uhhhhhhh. Why you need answer?" "I want to know" "Well the answer is no. Well Maybe. Yes." at this point I have no idea what I'm saying so I just run XD


I race to my house which is 1 block away, thinking "Why did I say that?" Sometimes I wish my brain worked quicker than my mouth. I think about Dinner as I put the code in to unlock the door. "Emma! Hi!" "Hey." "Do you mind making me a tea?" "Sure, mom." I climb onto the counter to reach the tea. Once the tea is finished I give it to my mom, and I run up the stairs. I look at a picture that my friend Jaiden made for me.

"Katelyn + Travis = Travlyn
Henry + Emma = Hemma"

I laugh as I close my eyes and fall asleep.
