lucille
When I was done I was covered in paint. I knew my mother would be furious but I didn't really care. I really enjoyed painting and if she's gonna get me a dress then she's gonna have to deal with that it's gonna be covered in paint. Thomas helped me clean up and I gave him the painting seeing he liked it so much. He thanked me for it and we went down stairs where he made some tea. We explored the house and walked threw the winding hallways and stairs he confessed that he hadn't been in every place in the house so we found many things he hadn't seen before one of them being a child's small doll, another a room full of books that had been eaten be moths and other rather disgusting bugs. After awhile of exploring we went back down stairs where Thomas read from his favorite book. In the inside of the cover it said Luccile. "Whos Luccile" I asked not trying to pry. "Thomas responded in a emotionless tone "My sister." I cocked my head," you didn't tell me you had a sister, is she hear?" He looked up for the book still emotionless "No, she's dead." I was taken by surprise by his comment. "Oh I'm sorry."He smiled "no it's alright. She was the least loved person in my life.I'm glad she's gone." I was absolutely was not expecting him to say that. "W-well, oh, why didn't you love her." Thomas smiled, "when I get to know you more I'll tell you but for now it's my secret." I smiled and after we read for awhile I decided that it was probably wise for me to head home. Thomas accompanied me on my trip back. About a mile away from my home I shot him sideways glance and he smiled noticing my stare. I quickly looked away. I hit my bottom lip and stared out the window until I heard a pitter of raindrops on the window. Thomas grabbed his umbrella and got out first holding above the carriage steps he held above our heads as we ran to the door I knocked and then went in inviting Thomas to come in after me. We stood there freezing and slightly wet. My uncle's wife came down the stairs smiling but as soon as she saw Thomas her eyes went ice cold with hatred. Thomas's face also went pale I was confused. I smiled running over to her she hugged me but still glared at Thomas. Still smiling I brought her over to Thomas, "Thomas this is my Step Aunt, Luc-." Thomas cut me off he smiled "Lucille, I know we've met." Lucille smiled glaring into Thomas's eyes "Indeed, indeed we have. Its been a long time, brother."
