Prologue: Escaping

I can't take it anymore. I want out of this prison. I don't care what my father, or Don or Vell have to say about it. They won't catch me this time.
I pop out of my bottle and start walking through the dark hallways, door after sliding door, finding any exit.
But then I see Don's guard thugs walking through, so I creep to the side of the wall until they pass, then run the opposite way they are walking.
Through each door, I hear them coming. They don't stop coming.
Then one sees me! He presses the red button, alerting everyone in the compound that I am trying to escape.
Damnit!
Don and Vell know I'm trying to get out of here!
I run like my life depends on it, which at this moment, it does.
I hear footsteps of guards, so I jump and cling to the ceiling. They pass within seconds, and I drop down again, running to a multiple hallway.
But I'm trapped. In every direction, those thugs are walking towards me.
I'm done for!
But then I look up. An air vent!
I concentrate hard, and I dissolve into tiny sparkles, floating through the vent. Once I leave the vent, I transform to normal again.
I'm out of there!
Finally!
I grab for my bag and take out my carpet, and take off, in search of somewhere to feel free.
Somewhere to meet new friends.
Somewhere I can be a normal teenager.
