Kyle's POV

I had a plan it was crazy but it may just work. All I was going to do is run. I had to hope the Emerald gave me the speed thing. Which that's a thing right. So every time I need a power it a ways gives me the one I need, which is weird but I ain't complaining. I had to move quickly. I waited till his robot things looked away then I grabbed the Emerald from my pocket. Come on don't let me down. It didn't. Boom! I was off with super speed. I waved and yelled "Bye!" as i left though the huge doors. I ran into the city but as i got further in I felt weaker my heart and chest killing me and I stopped in the forest. Panting and kneeling I could move. I look at my hand. Ahh my Emerald! "Looking for this?" I heard a female voice behind me. I turn to see this light blue hedgehog behind me. I looked at her hand. My emerald! "Um yeah I am. Can I have it back?"
She looked at me and asked "How did you get it?" I could feel the energy coming off it and slowly got back up.
"Some guy umm...Eggman i think his name was gave it to me" She seemed shocked when I told her.
"You work for Eggman then?" She gave me frown.
"Not anymore I ran off and he's most looking for me" I put my hand out "Can I have it back?" her frown went away as she handed it to me. I heard loud foot steps and a huge robot came though the tree along with that Eggman fella.
"Oh not this guy again" She said and moan.
"Oh you met before?" I asked her holding my Emerald.
"Yeah we stopped it I mean me and a friend did" I nodded as she said that and that freak dude said us.
"Yeah and this time no remote. Metal fist get him" Is that the best he could do really. I stood there and metal fist went to punch me. The Emerald started to glow. Bingo! I blocked the punch with one hand.
"Wait what!?" The girl and Eggman said at the same time. I started to spin grabbing the robot with both hands. "ARR" i spun the robot around and around like a rag doll. I stopped and threw him straight upwards. We all waited as he came back down and landed shattering into pieces.
Eggman left before I could say anything and the girl said to me "That was awesome!" I was flattered "How did you do that?" Ar here we go. I started to explain to her how when I am in contacted with the Emerald I gained a power and how I feed off Chaos energy. She filled a few gaps I had like what the Emerald was and what my powers were.
"So yeah the Emerald gives off the energy because it's a Chaos Emerald" She explained to me. "Oh by the way I'm Sapphire!"
I didn't have a name "I'm ummm..." think fast "Kyle" it will do.
"Cool hey you should come meet my friends!" She stood up as if I had already said yes. I nodded and followed her to a house.

When we got there she gave the door a knock. A pink hedgehog opened the door. "Jackie!" Sapphire ran to her and they gave each other a hug. Jackie looked at me "Who's he?". I stepped forward "I'm um Kyle".
She nodded and said "You new here?" she said that as if I was the bad guy here. Oh wait Am I?
"Yeah you could say that" I looked at Sapphire I didn't tell her about being Eegman's pet did I? This Blue hedgehog then appeared out of no were I looked at him. I had a urge like I had to kill him. I felt like reaching for my Emerald and choking him. I held back this must be sonic. The urge kept eating at me. "Well I have to go sorry" And I grabbed my Emerald and shot off trying to avoid killing him. The hell was that?! Why did I feel a need to kill him?! Who am I?!
