Chapter 8

"Hey, is Marie still upstairs?" John Philip asked his mother. "I hope not. Her dinner is going to get cold," she said. John Philip went upstairs. "Marie are you in there?" he asked. He opened the door and walked in, but she wasn't in there. He checked the whole upstairs and downstairs, but Marie wasn't in the house.
