Chapter 3

As Marie and John Philip walked down the staircase at the train station, they felt a chill down their spines.
"Do you think that there really is a ghost?" whispers Marie to John Philip so that their mother wouldn't hear them. "I think there is," he said. "I think that woman was lying. Ghosts don't exist," said Marie. "Don't say that. The ghost might get mad, and haunt you for the rest of your life," said John Philip. "Shut up! You're scaring me!" whispers-shouts Marie. "Okay, how about tomorrow we come back here and i'll show you that ghosts are real," said John Philip. "Fine, but how are we supposed to tell mother where we're going?" asked Marie. John Philip thought for a second. "How about we say we're going to the library?" They were just about to get into the car when Marie said, "Fine."
