Chapter 11
He couldn't see Marie standing anywhere at the staircase. Suddenly, he heard a scream. He looked behind him and saw a person in a white dress walking up to him. Behind her was Marie, unconscious on the ground. John Philip tried to run, but the ghost grabbed him and pulled him back. John Philip then realized that the ghost was the woman. He eventually got away and ran down the stairs. When he got to the bottom, the ghost was there and, suddenly, he was unconscious.
