Love, and Death

Chapter 24

-Alex's POV-
Nick, and I just stood there in shock. Two frigging kids saved us. Their only like 8 or 9 years old. We grabbed the kids hands, and we ran back to the prison. We all got in there safely, and Jace, and Beth came running over. We glared at them, and walked over to the couch. Nick put a arm around my shoulder, and I laid my head on his chest.

We stayed like that for awhile, and then, we looked at each other, and started to lean in.

-Alex and Nick's POV-
When our lips touched, I felt butterflies. But, we're with Jace, and Beth.

-Alex's POV-
We pulled away, and just relaxed for the rest of the day. I got up, and went to the house, and changed into black sweat pants, a vneck, and my uggs. I put my phone in my back pocket, and started to walk out. I felt a hand grab my wrist.

I turned around to feel someone's lips on mine. I opened my eyes to find Jace, and I kissing. I closed my eyes, and wrapped my arms around his neck. I felt fireworks when we kissed. It was better than the kiss that I had with Nick.

We pulled away, and both said "Sorry" at the same time.

"I'm sorry for cheating on you with them. I was trying to stop Chloe, but she threatened to hurt you, and the babies. I'm really sorry." He said.

"It's okay. And, I'm sorry to." I said.

"For what?" He asked.

"Nick, and I kissed. But, it lasted for like 2 seconds, and we pulled away." I said.

"Oh. It's fine." He said wearing a fake smile.

"Your lying. I'm really sorry. Okay? Now you know how I felt when you told me that you cheated on me." I said.

"I know. I'm sorry." He said hugging me. I hugged back, smiling.

We pulled away, and we went to our bedroom.

"Jinx!" I squealed. She came running over to me, and I picked her up, kissing her little nose. Jace chuckled.

We laid on the bed, talking, laughing, and a few kisses here, and there. He's my husband, and I don't want to lose him. We cuddled after awhile, and we had our legs tangled up.

After awhile, we heard something, or someone outside. We got up, me holding Jinx, and looked out the window. There were walkers everywhere. But, we turned on our fence, so we should be good, right?

We backed away from the window, and Judith, Nick, and Beth came running in with all our babies. Damn. We laid them on the couch, and locked the doors, windows, everything. We pulled the blinds, and I had to turn the fence on. I guess it wasn't on. Oops.

We all stayed in the room with the babies, and Beth's dog, Max, came running in. Jinx saw him, and hid under my shirt. I giggled, and put a hand in my shirt.

"Alex, what are you doing?" Nick asked.

"Petting Jinx." I said calmly. He nodded, and went back to talking with Beth.

Jace, and I stayed in the corner of the room, talking quietly, giggling/laughing, and kissing. I leaned my head on his shoulder, and he kissed my head. I smiled, and before I knew it, I fell asleep in Jace's arms.

-Jace's POV-
I looked down to see Alex asleep. I smiled, and looked down her shirt to see Jinx licking Alex's stomach. Alex giggled, and I looked at Jinx to see that she had a shocked expression on her face. I laughed, and she started licking Alex's stomach again.

I looked over at Judith to see she was asleep. I smiled. She said I treat her like a father. I guess it's true. I basically take care of her. Beth, and Nick were asleep. I looked down at Max, and saw him staring at me. I smiled, and patted his head. I gave him some food, and Jinx some food.

I gave the babies food. I laid down beside Alex, and fell asleep.
