Chapter 2
-Maggie's POV-I looked at the two girls, and saw them laughing, and talking. It made me jealous, that they have a better relationship than Beth, and I. Well, it is actually my fault that they have a better relationship. I didn't care about them, or noticed that they ran away when Mom was still here. I paid more attention to Dad, than I did to Beth, Alex, and Mom. That's why they were Mom's favorite. I was always Dad's favorite. He always spent more attention to me, than them. I spent most of my life, feeling guilty. I started feeling guilty, after Mom died. She never forgave me for what I've done. I wouldn't blame her. Before she died, Mom told me that if I ever wanted to make a relationship with them, that I should apologize for ignoring them, and for not noticing them. That was the same thing she told Dad, before she died.
I looked at them again, and saw that they were asleep. I smiled. I turned back around, and looked at Dad. He was staring at the two girls with, sadness, and guilt. I was looking at them with guilt, and sadness also. I miss when we all were close. But, now? None of us girls are close, except Alex, and Beth. I hate being the only girl with no relationship with my sisters. But, I do have a father/daughter relationship. I'm happy about that.
-Hershall's POV-
I saw Maggie looking at Beth, and Alex with guilt, and sadness on her face. My heart broke when I remembered that, I never paid attention to my two daughters, or wife. I was guilty of that. I was sad that, I never thought to start a relationship with Alex, Beth, or Amy. My vision started to get blurry, but I blinked back tears. I looked at my other two daughters in the back seat, and smiled at them sleeping. It was cute.
I returned focusing on the road. We were going to a prison where it's empty, and where there's rooms for all of us. We finally arrived.
Alex, and Beth woke up, got their things, and ran inside the prison with guns.
-Alex's POV-
Beth, and I shot every walker we saw. Even in the basement, and where there's a doctor room.
Beth, and I walked up the stairs, and picked a room that had bunk beds. We squealed, and laid our stuff down. I saw pink, red, blue, and black paint, and showed Beth. She nodded, and we changed into old clothes, and started painting our room.
-4 hours later-
We got finished painting the walls. Then, we started on the prison bars of our room with red paint. We finished it. Then, we painted the dresser black, with red stripes. Then, we painted the bars on our bed, blue.
After we were finished, we put all of our clothes in the dresser. Beth, and I packed ALL of our clothes. We packed clothes, our iPhones, mp3 players, food, guns, our shoes (vans, converse, sneakers, and more), and our makeup. We brought blinds, and purple curtains to put on our window. So, we put them on the window.
