I have once again fallen asleep after lying in that room for hours, not once getting a visit from Dr. Saw. I was starting to wonder where he was. I did catch a glimpse of him on the screen, but he just fed Dad some soup and gave him some water, and checked on his wounds. I heard Dad ask something inaudible, but Dr. Saw said something like,
"No, I'm too tired today. I decided to give us three a break from all the torture." He then runs a hand through his dark hair, and flinches a few times as he walks out the door. He makes me wonder if he's bipolar or something since he seems to have mood swings all the time. It puzzles me how he could be happy to destroy everything important to us, and some days he seems almost apologetic and exhausted for us.
Later what I assumed was nighttime, he came in only one time, setting up a full-length mirror on the wall across the foot of my bed. He didn't even glance at me once, just rushed right back out. He made a noise that I couldn't tell if it was snickering or soft crying.
Weakly, I urged my head to lift itself. I caught sight of something awful and distorted in the mirror. It was pile of flesh with twisted limbs, its skin burned, torn, and mutilated beyond recognition. Its face twisted as I began to sob, knowing that this... this horrifying deformed human being was me. My once bright cheerful eyes were now bloodshot, teary, and yellow. My face looked aged well over its years, my eyes and cheeks sunken in. My body was so skinny from starving and being sick that I was nearly a skeleton. I let my head plop back down, staring at the ceiling motionlessly till I fell asleep.
Hours later, I awoke to Dr. Saw taking things out of a baggy and plopping them on a table next to me. They were transparent pills with white powder in them. He filled a glass of water and grabbed one of the pills, pushing it into my mouth.
"What are you doing? What is this?" I asked, my voice quiet and croaky. He hushed me and forced me to gulp the water down, swallowing the mysterious pill. He waited only till he knew I had swallowed it to answer me.
"That my dear was Molly." He grinned. My eyes went wide from disbelief. That's one of the crazy drugs kids would take at raves to hallucinate and stuff! He continued, "It's mixed with ecstasy and a bit of acid, so you're gonna have a pretty crazy trip." He laughed and playfully punched me in the arm before sitting in the corner, waiting for the drugs to kick in.
After about 20 minutes, I began to feel loopy and tingly. Most of my torturous pain drained from me and left me feeling ticklish and tingly, like I was made of jelly. Soon, I couldn't even feel the straps around my wrists, the poison ivy, the burns, nothing. It was... amazing. At least, for a few moments. Then I began to have the hallucinations.
It began with funny squiggles dancing across the ceiling, colors flashing within them. Then they began to form a shape, kind of like a portal. I squinted as something white and glowing began to emerge from it. It... it was a hand! Then a whole arm reached out towards me. I blinked hard and squirmed, the walls pulsating like waves.
"Havin' fun, kiddo?" Saw chuckled somewhere. His voice was distant and bouncing around the melting walls. I stared up at the hand, which was now gripping the ceiling and hoisting something out of the portal thing. First, a mass of long dark brown hair spilled out, then pale shoulders. I squealed softly, terrified, until the thing lifted its head and a breeze pushed the hair from its face. A pair of dark eyes and a sweet smile looked down upon me.
"M-mommy?" I whimpered, trying to reach up to her, but the straps impeding me from doing so. I looked back up, her form fading back up into the ceiling. I squirmed hard, tears beginning to flow, "Mom NO! COME BACK!" I wailed, watching as tears flowed from her own eyes, which turned into pouring rain. I shut my eyes from the water dripping into them, but when i opened them up again, there was no rain, no portal, and no mom. I cried softly, wishing that she would come back and save me. Soon it began to "rain" again, but this time it was blood. Dark red rain poured down, I closed my eyes for a few moments, then opened my eyes again. The walls turned into deformed faces of the previous victims, their expressions sobbing, screaming, or yelling angrily. I spotted Claire's, whose eyes were white and melting into white tears.
"Claire... Help me" I whispered. Her tears kept dripping down, she did not respond to my plea. Then I spotted Dr. Jonson's face. His eyes were pitch black, a huge grin stretching across his face. Soon, his entire face took up the wall, swallowing up everyone else. I felt something sharp slice at my wrists and ankles. Saw had sliced the straps off.
"This is gunna be funny as hell to watch you try and run from nothing." He sat back and laughed as I slipped off the table. I couldn't even stand I felt exactly like jelly. He leaned forward, grabbing my chin, lifting my head up and staring into my eyes. "It's all in your head, kid. Or maybe it's not." He leaned back, chuckling as I dragged myself out of the room, staring in horror at the giant face of Dr. Johnson grinning at me with hundreds of teeth and those empty, black eyes.
